Kaitlyn's POV

It was 7:30 pm. It was time for dinner. My mom told me to go wake up Kaylynn and tell her it's time for dinner. So I head upstairs I reach Kaylynn's door and knock. Nobody answers so I open the door and walk in Kaylynn is curled up in a corner. Her face is swollen and there is red spots everywhere. It looks like she has been crying.

I walk over to her and wake her up and tell her "it's time for dinner and what is wrong?"
"It's been a bad week the guy I love I had to move away from and now I know he loves me to and I asked him out but he said no! I was forced to move away from California, my grandma, and my best friends." I felt so bad for her then. I have been saying I hate her for saying yes to Come here but she didn't even have a choice to come here.
"I'm so sorry to hear that I truly am." Her face went from sad to angry within a second I didn't know somebody could get so mad so fast.
"Well don't lie to me. I know you don't like me anyways. You act like you hate me. I wish I had at least one friend in this town. So please stop acting like my friend right now." I got up and stepped away because she was really angry at me and she had every right to be.

"Don't say that I am your cousin and friend and I am always ere for you Kaylynn. Nobody will ever hurt you. You hear me?" I could tell I said the right thing because she went from mad to happy.
"Okay. Thank you so much Kaitlyn." she said smiling and giving me a hug I pulled back from the hug and told her "your welcome Kaylynn now go put on some makeup and let's go eat."

We got to the kitchen and we ate then we all went to bed except me and Kaylynn. I watched her walk to her barn. I walked in and hid behind some hay. I watched her pet on her horse till she spoke "I know you are there. Being around horses calms calms me down." I walked out from behind the hay and asked her in a very low voice
"how did you know I was here?" She petted her horse a few more times and turned to me.
"I'm so attached to horses so I can almost feel what they are thinking." I was not expecting that type of answer.
"Oh that's really cool. I'm going to go to bed now." I turned around to leave and started to walk when she said
"Thanks for seeing if I was okay it means a lot to me." I turned around and faced her
"Anytime cousin." I then turned around and jogged to the house.
