Trouble

Chapter 6

Kaylynn's POV

I was in my barn cleaning my saddle when I heard a scream from outside where my horse is pinned up. It dropped everything I was doing and ran to see who was screaming and what had happened. I went running towards the screaming and once I got to my barn door I saw the funniest thing ever. I saw Kaitlyn on the ground screaming and my horse running away. I couldn't help but laugh.

Kaitlyn saw me after a while and stood up I walked out to her. "What were you thinking trying to ride my horse?" I asked her with humor in my voice. She didn't answer till she had herself completely dusted off.
"I was trying to ride your stupid horse but your horse hates me and bucked me off into the ground." She said.
"Tell me the real reason." I demanded.
"Fine. I wanted to be able to ride like you and make the barrel team." She said. I made a face at the thought of her trying to be like me.
"Don't ever do this again. You need me around if you are going to ride. I can teach you if you want to ride. You don't know how dangerous that was. I have seen people seriously hurt from riding a horse without anybody around and not knowing how to ride."
"Fine I will let you teach me. Since your the best in our stupid little town." She said. I then came up with a good idea on how to get her to behave around horses.
"Before you get to ride a horse I have to know your ready so you get to help clean my barn and you can get your own gear and your own horse. Got it?" I said.
"Got it." She said a turned around and walked away. I called for my horse and petted on her and told her how good of a horse she is and how she doesn't have to put up with Kaitlyn if she didn't want to.

I then walked back to my barn and finished cleaning my saddle. Then I had to put up Katybug in her stall and feed her and groom all the dirt off of her coat. I then got out my phone and walked over to the ladder that leads up to the place where my hay is stored. I got up there and laid down on some hay and saw I had some texts and a missed call.
*Hey Kaylynn it's Niall.*
*So what's up Kaylynn*
*Call me once you find the time too*
They all are from Niall. How did he get my number. Katy must have gave it to him. The call was from him too.

I dialed in Niall's number and listened to it ring. On the third ring he picked up. "Hey Kaylynn!"
"Hi Niall. what did you need?"
"I wanted to tell you something." He said.
"What is it?"
"I heard you moved." He said.
"Yep and I want to go back to California I miss it."
"I have to go bye." he said sounding nervous.
"Bye I guess." I said. He hung up really fast. That was the weirdest thing that has happened so far.
