Astra || Tale Of The Night ||

Chapter- 7

"What took you this long missy?" Eliana asked me as she crossed both of her hands while Mirza looked unbothered about Eliana's question.

I shrugged my shoulder as I taught about Xion but Mirza cut in "There's no time for that girls! We have to go the store before it closes." I looked on my phone to check time and it's already around 8 in the evening. We three then, went inside the game store and got excited like we were five years old.

"Is that a freaking Beyblade tournament set!" Mirza said with awe.  Eliana looked up over different kinds of decorative objects that's been set up while I walked through the aisle filled with stuffed toys. Then Mirza called up "Guys! over here. Eliana walked towards the aisle she was at and noticed it filled with varieties of board games. 

"You can start your search ladies." Eliana stated. I surfed through many board games as i thought  'Monopoly? Nah, I'm not really a big fan for it. Snake and ladder? I've played it a thousand times, so no. Oui- OUIJA BOARD?!'

I got genuinely got shocked after seeing an Ouija board casually been placed with other board games. I stared at it for a while that made Eliana and Mirza to notice. Both of them had different reaction when they realized that i was holding an Ouija board. Mirza looked suprised while Eliana was shocked.

 "Do you really want that? Because, you can clearly see and speak to a ghost without that." Eliana stated.

I left put a deep sigh when she said that. It's true that I can communicate to the supernatural without it bit still I hear whispers of some spirits and entities ordering me to buy it.

Well I ain't listening to that.

"Wanna know about the Other World? Get the Ouija board."

A strange voice whispered into my ear. I furiously looked around the store to spot the spirit. Shockingly, I see no spirits around, but I can hear them. I felt conflicted to decide whether I should get it or not.

How did a random spirit know about it though?

I thought deeply to find an answer but Mirza broke it " Well girls, I guess we are playing with this tonight." She giggled as she grabbed the Ouija Board from my hands.

When she said that, I had a chill run down through my spine. I could feel Eliana trying her best not to shout.

"No!" Eliana yelled at last. She knows, how dangerous it can get. Even though we've never used a Ouija board, we both still talked with few spirits through my ability...and things took a wrong turn which scarred her from doing that forever.

Mirza gave her a confused glanced and stated "I thought you are daring." Eliana let out a deep breathe and said "But not with this. Trust me, things can get real nasty with this."

As she started to explain to Mirza, I hear multiple  whispers from numerous spirits.

"Get the Ouija board Astra"

"You'll know more about the Other World."

"Can you help to find my son plea-"

"Get the damn broad."

"Wanna know about your mommy? "

My eyes widened when I heard the last bit.

'My mommy, what happened to her?'  I thought subconsciously.

"Get the board and you'll know everything, tonight."

Why? Why are the spirits asking for the board? They can already talk to me directly. Why then?

Before I could answer all the answers in my mind. The two girls in front of me looked at me.

"Tell us Astra, should we get the Board or not?" Mirza questioned.

I left out a deep sigh and finalised my decision.

"We're getting the board."
