UNREQUITED LOVE

CHAPTER-7

Today we were having a day off from school. So we planned to visit the amusement park. I love amusement parks. They are fun. Especially the carousel and the giant wheel. I love both of them.

We decided to meet near the entrance of the amusement park.

Markus, me and Natasha decided to go together.

I told them to meet me at my place at 11 O' clock.

I wore a crop top and a dungaree and paired them with white sneakers.

I went down and saw Markus and Natasha already seated in the drawing room.

"Sorry guys. Let's get going."

"No problem." Natasha said

"Let's go" Markus said and we left the house.

We went to the metro station. Markus went and got us the tickets from the ticket counter.

Our train arrived at 12:30pm. We got on the train. The train was full.

I could see an empty seat in the distance. I told them to follow me.

I told Natasha to take the seat as I was totally fine standing. Actually I wanted to stand beside Markus. That was my original reason but she refused and told me to sit.

I insisted that she should sit but she was continuously refusing me and telling me to sit. Seeing our fight, Markus got annoyed and sat on that seat.

"If you guys don't want to sit then let me." He said.

We both looked at each other with an awkward smile on our face.

Finally we reached our destination. The Centreville Amusement Park. It is located on Centre Island, part of the Toronto Islands, offshore of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

I saw Naomi and Austin near the entrance. We went up to them.

"Hey guys!" Naomi said.

"Hi!" I said, running towards her.

I went to her and gave her a big hug. After all she was my best friend.

"Hey Erica! Get away from my girlfriend." Austin said as was getting jealous of me and Naomi. He was trying to separate me and Naomi but failed.

"Austin for gods sake stop being jealous of me. I am her best friend and you are her boyfriend. Of course I'll hug her. I can even kiss her on her cheeks. Do you want to see it? Huh!" I said teasingly.

Markus pulled me back from the hug. I looked at him in a confused way.

"Erica stop teasing him." He said while looking at me. He was smiling.

"He deserves it." I said

"Enough Erica." He said while giggling.

Natasha and Naomi also started giggling upon seeing my silliness.

"By the way Naomi, where are Alex and Ashley?" I asked her.

"Oh, they went to get our tickets."

"Let's hope that they don't fight at the ticket counter." Austin said.

"Hey, they've stopped fighting a long time back." Naomi said.

"Yeah. now they are like more sweet with each other." I said.

"Yeah, I could see the sweetness. It's overflowing." Austin said while pointing at them.

"Overflowing?"

"Yeah, look there."

Alex and Ashley were fighting again. Ashley was screaming at Alex and Alex was screaming back at Ashley as they were walking towards us.

"Sorry Austin. It's better I keep my mouth shut." I said while sighing.

Alex and Ashely came to us.

"Whoa Whoa Whoa, why are you guys fighting like cats and dogs?" I asked.

"It's his fault," Ashley said.

"No. It's her fault. Why do you never agree with me?" Alex said to Ashely.

"Guys! Cool down. What happened?" Natasha asked.

"I told him that we should first go to the carousel and then to the roller coaster. But he said first we'll go to the roller coaster and then to the carousel."

We were like "what on the freaking earth!"

"So.. you guys were fighting over this?"

"Yeah!" Both of them said it together.

"Guys chill out. We won't go to either rides if you guys keep fighting like that. Let's do one thing, first let's go to the haunted mansion. And then we'll go ride the roller coaster and then the carousel. Fine?" I said.

"Yeah, let's do that." Naomi said and everyone agreed.

We went inside. It was huge and beautiful. It was not my first time in an amusement park but every time I visited one, I always felt like it's my first time.

We went inside the haunted mansion. It was a bit scary. Although I knew that everything was fake, I got a bit scared.

Naomi was holding Austin's hand because Austin was so scared once he went inside. Ashley and Alex went forward as they were not at all scared, me, Natasha and Markus were behind Naomi and Austin. Seeing them made me laugh.

Natasha was in front of Markus and I was behind him.

As we were walking, suddenly a skeleton popped up in front of us. Natasha got scared and hugged Markus.
