Chapter 8

Julie: is there anything you want to do for your dad for Father's Day

Savannah: yes

Julie: what is it

Savannah: I want to do is hang out with him and make him a card and his favorite foods he loves to eat

Julie: ok you can go upstairs and start making him his Father's Day card while I make him his favorite food

Savannah: ok but where is dad at

Julie: he is at your grandparents house helping your aunts and uncles decorate the house because later we are all going over there to celebrate your dad and your uncles and your grandpa for Father's Day

Savannah: oh cool I'm heading to my room

Julie: ok

Later that evening

Bret: you know Julie your food is amazing

Julie: thank you

Bret: so what do you girls want to do for Father's Day

Savannah: dad it's Father's Day so it's your day

Bret: I know that but I want to do something special with you girls

Julie: we want to celebrate you and that's all and then later we are going to your dad's house to celebrate you and your dad and your brothers for Father's Day

Bret: sounds like a wonderful idea what time are we leaving

Julie: around 7:30pm

Bret: ok

At Stu House

Stu: is everyone here

Helen: yeah I think so

Stu: ok so all of the dads are going around the table and saying what's so special about Fathers Day and I am going first so I am every happy that I am happy of being a father to all of you boys and girls and now that I have grandchildren that I love very dearly and I have a most wonderful wife who I has been with since we where young and happily married to and what a wonderful mother to our children and a wonderful grandmother to our grandchildren

Helen: that is the most sweetest thing you have ever said to any of us

Stu: thank you so who wants to go first

Bret: I will I am joyful that I have a wonderful family and a wife and a daughter who I will to the end of earth and have a wonderful job

Stu: that every loving son

Bret: thank you dad

Stu: who else

Owen: I will I am glad that I have a wife two kids and a job and I love you all

Stu: that really wonderful son

Back at home

Julie: so tonight was really nice and everyone telling what's so special about Father's Day

Bret: yes it was

Savannah: ok so I'm tired and I'm going to bed good night you guys and happy Father's Day daddy

Bret: thank you Savannah

Savannah: night you guys

Julie: do you want to go to bed

Bret: yeah sure

Julie: did you have a good Father's Day today

Bret: yes I did I have spent it with my two favorite girls in the world and went to celebrate it with my family

Julie: that's nice goodnight

Bret: night
