Bret: ok I'm off see you girls

Julie: ok do you have everything that you need

Bret: yeah

Julie: ok so be careful

Bret: I will bye

Savannah: did dad leave

Julie: yes he did

Julie: do you want to help me clean up breakfast and we can go on to our walk

Savannah: yeah sure

One hour later

Julie: ok let's go

Savannah: ok so do we have everything for our hike

Julie: let me check yes

Savannah: ok let's go

One hour later

Julie: this view is amazing

Savannah: yes it is

Julie: so since we are up here you want to take a picture

Savannah: yeah sure

Julie: ok say cheese

Savannah: cheese

Julie: that's a good one

Savannah: what else are we doing today

Julie: you want to go swimming

Savannah: ok

Julie: ok let's go head back to camp

Back to camp site

Julie: hey did you catch anything

Bret: no not really

Julie: I'm sorry

Bret: it's alright

Julie: did you at least have fun

Bret: yeah where's Savannah

Julie: she's changing

Bret: why

Julie: we are going swimming you want to go with us

Bret: yeah sure

Julie: ok then go change

Bret: ok

Savannah: ok I'm ready

Julie: I will head up with you I have to change

Savannah: ok but do you want me to wait on you

Julie: no that's ok you go on up ahead

Savannah: ok

Bret: no talking to boys

Savannah: dad would you please stop with the boy thing please

Bret: what

Julie: you do realize that she isn't a little girl anymore

Bret: I know that I just don't want my baby growing up or talking to any boys

Julie: I know but she will always be our baby no matter how old she gets ok

Bret: ok

Julie: now let's go swim with our daughter

Bret: ok

At the lake

Savannah: hey what took you guys so long

Bret: nothing

Julie: we had to get some food and drinks and medicine supplies in case one of us get hurt swimming

Savannah: how could you get hurt swimming

Bret: there's rocks in the water

Savannah: oh right hey mom

Julie: yeah

Savannah: what kind of snacks did you bring

Julie: just some sandwiches and drinks

Savannah: can I have one please I'm starting to get hungry

Julie: yeah sure

Savannah: thanks

Bret: I'm going in the water deeper Savannah you want to go with me

Savannah: yeah sure

Julie: just don't go too deep Savannah you can't really swim good yet

Savannah: I know

Bret: she'll be fine

Julie: if you say so

Later That Night

Julie: did you two have fun

Bret: yeah

Savannah: yes

Julie: what was your guys favorite part about this trip

Bret: fine was fishing even though I didn't catch anything

Savannah: mine was hiking and swimming

Julie: mine was spending time with you two

Savannah: that's sweet mom

Bret: really sweet

Savannah: so what are we doing tomorrow

Julie: we have to go back home tomorrow

Savannah: why

Julie: I have to go back to work and so does your dad

Savannah: oh

Bret: we can do another vacation as a family if you want to Savannah

Savannah: yeah sounds like fun to do but where should we go

Bret: I don't know yet

Julie: we can go to the beach

Savannah: yeah that sounds like fun

Bret: ok let's go

Julie: but when

Bret: whenever our day off is

Julie: ok

Savannah: sounds fun to me

Bret: ok

Savannah: ok I'm tired and I'm going to bed

Julie: night sweetheart

Bret: night kiddo
