Savannah: I cannot believe you did that dad

Bret: I said for you not to be around him and you did that anyways

Savannah: yeah I did because he is my friend and you don't even know him

Bret: I don't care and I don't want to know him

Savannah: why not

Bret: because he might be just like his dad and if he is like his father than men I don't want you to be around him or see him or to talk to him

Savannah: what about School

Bret: only at School and no where else now I want you upstairs to your bedroom and don't come out of there until dinner ready and you are grounded for two months which means no going to friends houses or going anywheres after School and when School is over with you are straight to come home and be in your bedroom until after dinner and that is it and no TV for two months  do you understand me

Savannah: yes sir

Bret: now go to your room

Savannah: yes sir

Julie: what was that all about

Bret: Savannah lied to me

Julie: what did she lie to you about

Bret: about that Jacob boy

Julie: what so she lied to you about some boy named Jacob

Bret: yeah

Julie: wait so is Jacob the son of Shawn Michaels

Bret: yeah

Julie: and that's the reason why you don't want our daughter seeing him

Bret: yes

Julie: Bret that is ridiculous and it's stupid have you in a day in your life ever meet Jacob to see what he is like maybe he's a different kid that you think he might be

Bret: what if he is like his dad

Julie: how do you know you won't even meet him and see what he's like  have you ever tried meeting him

Bret: no

Julie: but I think that you should at least do it for your daughter

Bret: ok I will

Julie: thank you now would you please go and apologize to your daughter please

Bret: yes ma'am

Upstairs in Savannah bedroom

Bret: hey can I come in

Savannah: yeah

Bret: listen I'm sorry for over reaching the way I did and for yelling at you and embarrassing in front of your friends

Savannah: it's ok

Bret: no it's not I shouldn't have reacted the way I did

Savannah: it's ok dad  it's not your fault your a dad and dad's are suppose to react when their daughter is around boys

Bret: I know but it won't happen again

Savannah: you promise

Bret: I promise

Savannah: thanks for coming up here and apologizing to me

Bret: no problem kiddo  so when and what time do you want me to meet Jacob

Savannah: I thought that you didn't want to meet him

Bret: well now I do

Savannah: is it some type of joke that you are playing with me

Bret: no joke I really want to meet him

Savannah: ok he can be here Saturday at the house around 3:00pm

Bret: sounds good to me and I will have your mom know and go to the grocery store and have her cook the food with your help and we can all sit down and talk

Savannah: ok sounds good to me

Bret: ok I'm going to bed night kiddo

Savannah: night dad and thank you for coming in here and apologize to me and get to meet Jacob

Bret: your welcome night

Savannah: night

Later That Night

Julie: so did you talk to Savannah

Bret: yes I did

Julie: and what did you say to her

Bret: I told her that I was sorry for yelling and embarrassing her with her friends there at the restaurant and I also told her that I can meet Jacob this weekend and we can talk

Julie: that's good what time is Jacob coming over

Bret: this Saturday at 3:00pm at the house

Julie: ok and I can go to the store and have Savannah help me cook the food

Bret: ok night

Julie: night
