13 - Pool party

"Wake up sleepy head!" I heard skylynn scream "skylynn I'm sleeping go see if hayes is awake" I said groggily "he told me to come get you!" She said "tell him I said to get his a-" I thought about what I should tell my 5year old sister... "go tell him to go play dolls with you and if he doesn't see if mom or dad will" I said and she left.

I woke up finally and went downstairs to everyone awake eating breakfast. Saturday tradition is pancakes and FaceTime nash then will. "I think I heard Dez" I heard Nash's voice. Everyone looked up to me when I opened the fridge. "What?" I asked grabbing the milk for my lucky charms.

"It's like 2:00 why are you just now getting up?" Nash asked and hayes turned the laptop towards me. "I thought when you moved to L.A. You wouldn't be here to nag me about it" I said shoving my spoon in my bowl to make a statement. "Thought wrong sissy poo" he said laughing "where's will I wanna talk to him" I said and nash gasped laughing and I couldn't help but laugh.

"Hey Dez" will said. He was shirtless and sweating like a dog "eww yor sweaty" I said "doing work" he said kissing his muscle. I swear there's a type of boy called 'grier' it's like the athletic version of a fuck boy. But I'm sure the millions of girls who adore my brothers would disagree.

"Mom can I go to a party tonight?" I asked "where at?" She asked "at Mel's its a pool party" I said wiggling my eyebrows "I don't care, don't come home d-r-u-n-k" she spelled out drunk since skylynn's ears hear everything.

I changed into my bathing suit (on side) then left to Lue's car that was out front. I remember Mel saying he liked me in cheetah print so I wore that with pink bottoms to look good. I like Mel and I think he likes me but he always tells everyone were just friends, and ever since the night in L.A. After dinner.. I just don't know what to think.

We got there and there was literally everyone in our entire class there. He really knows how to party. There were 4 beer pong tables set up in the grass behind the pool and there was a 12ft long and wide trampoline that looked so tempting. Yes, I'm 17 and still enjoy jumping on a trampoline.

There were pool noodles, donut shaped rafts, water guns, and beach balls covering the water, making it look like a bin you'd find at Walmart.

"Hey Dez" I recognized Mel's sweet vice from behind me and he wrapped his arm around my shoulder and kissed the side of my head "nice party" I said impressed "thanks, it was mostly the maids" he said and I laughed "so what first.." I said interesting Mel "I beat your ass in beer pong or we go on the slip and slide?" I asked "slip and slide" he said sneakily

"Why is the water yellow?" I asked scared of what it was "it's not water, it's beer" he said like a little kid showing me their drawing they did at kindergarten class..
