There is nothing in my brain. Or maybe there is so much that my brain mushed it together and turned it into nothingness.. Either way, all I see is blackness.

It's kind of like being swarmed by bees, or submerging into a deep sea. The only way I can think of describing it is like when you're taking a bath and you put your ears under the water and bubbles of air come out of them and then your head is hazy and everything feels like twilight. I'm fulfilled with this awful blackness, that was until..

Until the blackness became a dark shade of grey, and then soon I heard beeps and foot steps. I tried so hard to move, to talk, to even do the simplest task of opening my eyes.

But the swarm of bees and warm sea turned into glue. I can't move. Am I in a coma? My throat.. It's dry. Is that why I can't speak?

I opened my mouth to say something but no words came out and my eyes, still are too heavy to lift. "Hey sweetie how are you?.. Hayes go get the doctor" my mom said quickly

My eyes snapped open and I saw the bright white light on the ceiling and the memory of the head lights flashed in front of me like I was reliving it. I sat up moving my hair out of my face.

"Mom?" I asked "honey, I'm right here" She said concerned, coming to my side. A lady in scrubs walked in with Hayes walking behind her.

"Sugar, you got ran over by a car" the lady said, talking to me like I was five years old. "I know" I said offended by her tone. "What happened to you?" She asked testing me

"I got hit by a freaking car because I was dancing in the street like an idiot... Wait- Oh my god Lue. Where's Lue?!" I got out of the bed to stand. "And Mel and Tez" I said frantically trying to gather myself mentally

I felt a sharp pain realizing I was hooked up to a machine by a needle in my arm, when I got out of bed the IV twisted around my arm and tugged to the side "What the hell?" I said ready to fight someone "Watch your mouth! Now sit your butt down" mom screamed back.

"Jesus I get hit by a car and she's still screamin' at me" I said to Hayes as if she couldn't hear me. Hayes chuckled trying to stay out of it like he always does when it comes to us fighting.

"Did that car hit you in the head?!" Mom hit the back of my head angrily. "No, but if it did you would've just furthered my brain damage" I laughed rubbing my head staying calm as she got angrier. "God.. This family" Hayes sat in the corner rubbing his head.

"So.. my friends?" I edged on "They're fine, your the only one who got hurt" the nurse said "ok what's wrong with me?"
"The car only damaged your knee and you have a busted kneecap"

I looked down to a big metal brace on my knee. "Why didn't it hurt when I stood up?!" I asked "Because of your adrenalin" I nodded my head understanding.

My dad ran in out of no where "sorry I'm late! How is she?" He grabbed my head with two hands and kissed it in a grieving way.

"Busted knee cap" mom said bluntly. "oh man, she's out of cheer isn't she?" He asked the nurse.
"Of course your always worried about our kid's sports but not about our actual kids" mom griped.

"Uhm" the nurse looked around not knowing what to say or do. "You can leave" I nicely said as our parents started arguing.

"I'll be back" she mouthed out leaving. Me and Hayes sat there arms crossed scolding them until they stopped.

"Hey!" Nash pranced in excitedly. "What's up?" He looked at mom and dad who finally shut their mouths

"Mom and dad were fighting" Hayes smirked. "Well it's a good thing they're divorced" Nash said setting a mcdonalds bag down on the table and laying beside me casually like he hasn't been living hours away for a year.

"How's my favorite sister named Destiny?" He put his arm on my shoulder and reached in his pocket. "She has a Blown out knee" hayes said "that sucks, let's take a picture" he said

I looked up to Nash holding his phone up so I smiled and did a peace sign. "I'm going to sign your release papers" mom said leaving. "She'd do anything to get away from me" dad held his hands out in a cocky way and we laughed.

"Is this for me?" I reached for the bag of food Nash brought in. "Yea bro" he said "sweet thanks" I found a cheeseburger and fries in the bag and a little box at the bottom.

"What's this?" I held the box up. "Open it" I saw a gold chain with "Destiny" written in cursive on the necklace "it's SO cute" I squealed "it wasn't actually for someone's name but they had Destiny, Hope and Love so it worked" Nash laughed.

We all sat there talking when mom walked in with her purse on her shoulder which meant she was ready to go. "We leaving?" Hayes stood up stretching.

"Yea just let me get this for you" the nurse walked in and unhooked me from everything. "Here" mom handed me nike shorts and a tee shirt. I changed in the bathroom then came out to everyone staring at me.

"You don't need crutches or anything because you just badly cracked your patella. You didn't hurt any ligaments so wear the brace for a few weeks and come back" the nurse said breaking silence. we thanked her and left the room.

"I'm scheduling another appointment you guys go to the car" we split from mom to the parking lot.

I was a few steps behind everyone because my knee was hurting and it was hard to walk on. "Here crip" Nash walked back to me and swept me up like a baby.

Hayes turned around with his camera walking backwards. "Nash is whipped! Nash is whipped! Nash is-" "quit dude" Nash smirked "Nash is wh- ugh!" Hayes tripped on his feet and fell on his butt!

Everyone started laughing at him. Even random people who were just walking by. He got up and brushed his pants off with red cheeks. "Ha ha" Nash said sarcastically while I stuck my tongue out at him. He stuck out his tongue back at us then turned around and kept walking.

"Hayes you got my keys?" Dad asked as Hayes looked in his pockets and Nash set me down.

"If your looking for your pride,  it fell out over there when you fell" I said pointing to the spot where he fell. "Ha. Ha." He said sarcastically throwing dad the keys.

"Nash thought it was funny" I said laughing at the uncontrollably laughing Nash in the back seat of the SUV. "It was a pretty good one Hayes you gotta admit"

"Hey so I guess no visit to your place this weekend huh?" I asked going in a completely different direction with the conversation.

"We can hold it off till next weekend" "ok."
