Following last days, Captain Obi's training schedule became weirder and weirder. While you were on the roof, he was bilancing himself with some dumbbells and other heavy things. Obviously all that during your morning meeting.

Obi: After yesterday dustup, we're going to investigate them, and it may come to blows.

Your mind disconnected on its own, and so seemed to do the other's, even Obi's. Arthur declared himself a griffon and a dragon slayer, probably mistaking his name as Natsuo. Shinra continued staring at the Lieutenant's cap. Before you could continue the analysis of your comrades, Hinawa put out a gun, aiming at Shinra. Like every other sane person, Shinra became nervous at his Lieutenant's threat. Proving he was no joke, Hinawa shot a bullet to Shinra's thigh and as a result, Shinra rolled in pain. However, after two or three rolls, Shinra noticed there was no wound, thanks to the Lieutenant's 2nd generation powers.

Hinawa: Arthur, you're an idiot

Y/N: I'm saying that since he joined.

Shinra: I'm saying that since I met him.

While Maki was training Arthur in hand-to-hand combat, you were together with Shinra and the Lieutenant waiting for your turn.

Shinra: Who is that Captain Princess, anyway?

Y/N: Third-generation Fire Soldier, Princess Hibana. She rose out of nowhere from Haijima, and landed in her current position.

Hinawa: From what I've learned, she seems to have gotten where she is by illegally researching Infernals and selling away her data.

Shinra: In that case, she might already know the cause behind human combustion!

Y/N: She has enough data to allow an upstart like her to become a captain, at least.

Hinawa: We're planning on using force to get it, too.

Shinra: Forget the data. I'm going to destroy the 5th!

You turned around with an amused look on your face.

Y/N: I'm happy to know we're on the same mind-wave, Shinra.

You looked at her shocked, without any words to leave your mouth. She was a kind girl, not someone like this. Iris used the silence to her advantage, getting away from you. However, you took her hand, stopping her in her tracks, but you didn't expect her to slip from you and keeping on walking. You decided to head back to your room.
