Y/N: We are going to Asakusa?!

After waking up late at a blasphemous hour and receiving a holy beating from Hinawa, you heard the Captain mentioning a trip to Asakusa, something tied to the Evangelist. However, it couldn't matter less to you, because you were returning to the district you had grown in, at least until the Academy.

Obi: Yes, so make sure to prepare your belongin-and he's gone.

In a second, all your belongings were in the Fire Engine and you were waiting eagerly in the front of the hoven-cathedral for the others to show up.

Y/N: We are going to Asakusa, we are going to Asakusa...

Tamaki: What's so important about Asakusa?

Maki: Y/N grew up there. Even if he doesn't speak about it too much with us, only mentioning Asakusa is for him reason of pride.

Timeskip brought to you by all the chibi 8th playing car games, except a gloomy chibi Hinawa

Y/N: Obi, it has been centuries since I last saw Asakusa. Can I walk for a bit, pleaseeee?

Obi: Even if I told you not, you'd still go. Fine, I guess you know this district better than anyone here.

You looked at Hinawa expecantly, hands still interlocked in a form of silent begging, until he gave you a thumb up. Your legs started moving and you found yourself back as a kid in Asakusa.

?: Ehi, are you new here?

A grumpy but feminine voice called at you from your back and you turned around immediately. The owner of the voice was a person you didn't think you would've seen again.

Y/N: Old biddy! I thought you died when I left for the Academy!

Old biddy: Little Y/N, you know better than me that I wouldn't have died until I had seen you again.

You hugged her, bringing her off the ground. The old biddy had been a great person since your family adopted you and used to give you a daifoku everytime she saw you. After Hibachi took you in, you didn't go out from the house for months, only training with him and the others to become stronger, but she kept on giving daifokus to Konro.

Old biddy: I know what. Why don't you take a daifoku?

Y/N: I can't accept it.

Old biddy: Non sense. Take these.

She shoved them in your hands and you couldn't help but smile at her gentleness. She has always been like a grandma to you and to Beni, giving you sweets. Even if Beni won't say it out loud, he loved her sweets as much as you.

Old biddy: Now go. Konro and Beni will be more than happy to see you grown so much. If you pass from these parts again, I will present you one or two girls. You became a so handsome young man I know full well nobody will be able to resist your charm.

You scratched awkwardly the back of your head, but then, before you could leave, you looked down in guilt.

Y/N: Do the others...still hate me?

Old biddy: They aren't exactly too fond of you, but hate is a strong word. Your mother was loved by everyone and so was the rest of your family. Their death was devastating for everyone and you were the only survivor of that disaster. But now too many bad vibes. Eat a daifoku and everything will be alright.
