It was a quiet morning, until the enemy of a good sleep made its appearance: the reveille. Five days in the training weren't enough to find any clue, so you had only 25 days including today, since the Rookie Training Reassignment System lasted 30 days in total.

This day wasn't different from the others. It started with Shinra opening the curtains, before seeing the Lieutenant in front of him.

Y/N: Lieutenant, I understand you are worried about us, but this is too much.

Shinra: Do you really have to come here every morning?

A group of nuns passing by embarrassed Shinra even more. Luckily, Hinawa wasn't a worried dad, so he left not too much later, reminding you all to call the Captain (who was the actual worried dad), before going to talk with Hibana.

You stood up in a second and immediately closed them, saving Shinra and you from a talk with the Devil's mommy. When Arthur finally woke up, you went to the Lunch Hall, finding there your camouflage.

You were busy staring at Arthur questionable ways of eating eggs, when Takeru, the Rookie from the 2nd, asked you why we became Fire Soldiers. Shinra's reason was simple yet effective, being a hero who saves everyone, Arthur's was dumb yet effective, being a knight who saves the weak, while Toru Kishiri, the bast-Rookie from the 5th was dumber than Arthur's, being a playboy. Yours was the same as Shinra. You didn't want to see anyone else suffering.

Takeru: I don't have a real reason to be a Fire Soldiers and I can't control my ignition very well...

Shinra: Forget about the objective. What matters is that you end up helping others.

Y/N: Yeah, that's what we have to do as Soldiers. If at the end of the day, I am able to save even only one person, I will consider it as a victory, it doesn't matter how small.

And she would've kept on reprimand you, if Arthur didn't move upwards the mayonnaise directly under her skirt. She stopped and moved from her place, but she tripped on the leg of a chair and her butt ended on your head. Why couldn't you have something softer?

An alarm overcome your voice, making everyone stop eating. An Infernal appeared and you were to leave immediately. After reaching Flam's quarters, many Fire Engine were deployed. The Lieutenant started giving indications on how to handle the five Infernal in the Area.

Flam: Nosaka's team will handle the evacuation of the civilians. Matsuda's will gather information and report it. The rest of us will look for the Infernals. Let's put them to rest quickly!

Everyone: Yessir!

Flam: You three from the 8th will stand here standing.

Shinra: We can help too!

Flam: Our structure would be thrown off by newcomers. Keep on standing where I left you standing.
