At 9pm, we met up in the Dining Hall, per Taka's request, to discuss the rules of this place and how to move forward. Everyone sat down at the table and waited for Taka to start the meeting. Surprisingly, even Byakuya showed up for this, though he forgot to leave his snootiness at his dorm.

"Alright, so everyone is here now. Good!" Taka started. "I've got a few suggestions that I think everyone should follow, and I want to know what you all think! Everyone's input is valuable, so please, speak up if you have questions or concerns!"

"First," Taka continued, "I say everyone should meet up in this Dining Hall after the 7am announcement, so we can take a roll call and see if anyone is missing. Also, it would be a good time to eat breakfast and get to know each other better."

Kirumi nodded. "Yes, I can accept this request. And should anyone find their morning breakfast insufficient, please let me know, and I shall make whatever you request of me."

Maki agreed as well, stating that a roll call would also help us find out if anyone was murdered overnight. Everyone looked at Maki warily, but she either didn't notice or didn't care. I was wagering on "didn't care".

"Next," Taka continued, "I say that we all agree NOT to leave our dorms after 10pm. We should all be resting up to prepare for the next day, and wandering alone at night could increase your chances of something bad happening to you."

Peko shook her head and responded, "How would we enforce this curfew if everyone is in their dorms? Do you suggest one person roam the halls, and not sleep?"

Taka shook his head. "No, of course not! This curfew would have to be voluntary, so we'd have to agree to it, but in truth, we could not force everyone to not leave their dorms at night."

Byakuya asked his own question. "If no one can enforce it, then why have it as a rule in the first place? I'm not saying I disagree with your logic, for ONCE, but..."

I cut him off. "As Taka said, it would have to be a voluntary decision. Whether you abide it or not is each individual's call to make, as you stated yourself. I see it, therefore, as more of a "soft rule", if you will. It's preferred, but not necessarily mandatory, and the only real penalty is the increased chance of being killed by someone else."

Byakuya just looked at me with eyes that plainly said, "Are you done yet?" I chose not to acknowledge it, and instead just looked back at Taka. "Anyway, was there anything else?"

Taka nodded. "One last thing. Remember that the dining room, the pool, and the trash room are off-limits after 10pm. Monokuma told me there are electronic locks that will force-lock all 3 areas, so they will be unable to be opened until after 7am. I say we start vacating these areas no later than 9:45pm, to make sure we don't violate the rules."

Hina nodded. "I agree! I can leave the pool, get showered up to get the chlorine out of my hair, and get dressed before the pool locks itself at 10pm. No problem!"

Akane added, "Plus, the gym itself isn't locked, and neither are the locker rooms, so we could even get dressed and work out in the gym after 10pm without breaking any rules, right?"

Peko responded, "It would seem so, yes." Keebo, Kokichi, Nagito, Kazuichi, and I all nodded in agreement to Peko's response.

Taka spoke up once again. "Alright, one more thing before I call an end to this meeting. If anyone gets hurt or injured, Mikan said you can contact her. She's got two beds in her room, versus the one bed that the rest of us have, and she's got a medicine cabinet as well."

Taka then clapped his hands together. "Alright, this meeting is adjourned. I hope to see you all tomorrow, in the dining room, around 7am!"

We all then left the dining room and headed off to our own rooms. I sat on my bed, processing everything that had happened. at 10pm, an alert came on over the monitor. Monokuma's face appeared, followed by a message stating that "Nighttime" had started, and the pool, dining hall, and the trash rooms were now closed. After it stopped, I laid down on my surprisingly comfortable bed and drifted off to sleep.

The next day, after breakfast in the dining room, I decided that I should speak with at least 2 of my classmates. I already spoke with Nagito and Kokichi yesterday, and spoke with Ibuki, Mikan, and Kirumi a little bit as well. I decided that I should try speaking with Maki and Peko, since they seemed the most likely to be dangerous at some point, and get a psychological feel for the both of them.

I was going to be surprised with both of them.
