T.W.: panic attack

Karl looked around his kingdom. He knew this place. He knew Sapnap. He knew Quackity. But what happened to the Inbetween and the Other Side?

"Karl? Are you okay?" Sapnap asked, bringing his fiance back to the present.

Karl nodded quickly, "yeah! I'm okay as long as we're all together!"

He slung an arm around each of his fiance's shoulders, holding them close. Sapnap giggled, placing a kiss on Karl's cheek. Quackity smiled softly. It seemed like Karl hadn't changed at all. Or Sapnap for that matter. The only one who changed was him...

"Hey, you okay Big Q?" Karl asked, resting his chin on his fiance's shoulder.

"Of course! Why wouldn't I be?" Quackity laughed lightly, turning to loosen Karl's grip on him.

Karl frowned, "you're not acting like yourself."

"Of course I'm not!" Quackity took a step back, "after everything that happened to me!? Executed by Technoblade! Later murdered by him! Destroying El Rapids! And the fucking shit with Dream!? Everything I ever had got destroyed! I have a nation now. Las Nevadas. That's who I am now."

Neither Sapnap or Karl knew what to say.

"El Rapids is gone?" Karl whispered.

"You destroyed it!?" Sapnap yelled, stepping forward.

"You all left me!" Quackity yelled back, "you left me to-to make this fuckin' place! And you didn't even come back for me."

Sapnap grit his teeth, smoke starting to rise from his body, "We tried Quackity! But you were off doing whatever the hell you were doing! Las Nevada or whatever! And what the hell are those visits you mentioned! What's that about Quackity!?"

"You wanna know what those visits were!?" Quackity shouted, stepping into Sapnap's face, the smoke brushing his scarred skin, "I was visiting Dream! Every fucking day! And I was going to get him to give me that fucking revive book!"

"And how were you going to do that?" Sapnap scoffed.

"I fucking tortured him! I took Sam's axe and sword into the cell and I made him fucking scream!" Quackity screamed loud enough to make his voice go hoarse.

Sapnap froze, the smoke dissipating as his face fell into one of shock. He... What..?

Quackity's breaths were coming in rapid bursts. The pain in Sapnap's eyes made him pause. What... What was he doing? Why was he so angry? All his energy seemed to drain out of him.

"Sap, I..." Quackity breathed, hesitating to reach out to his fiance.

"Stop." Sapnap's voice cracked quietly, "just stop."

Quackity looked to his other fiance, "Karl?"

"What do you expect me to say Quackity?" Karl pulled the sleeves of his hoodie over his hands.

Tears quickly filled Quackity's eyes. What had he done? Why had he done it? He didn't understand! Why does the thought of them leaving hurt so much? Why doesn't he want to be forgotten..?

In the back of his head, a man with large ram horns and bright red eyes glared at him. He turned his back and walked away. He left Quackity.

Flatty patty

Images flooded Quackity's head. Painful and sharp, embedding themselves behind his eyes and driving emotions into his heart. He fell to the ground, holding his head in his hands to try and stop the hurt. Constant screams tore out of his throat. Like sharp shrapnel reminiscent of smashed bottles.

Sapnap and Karl watched as their fiance suddenly collapsed on the ground, screaming his voice to shreds.

"Quackity!" Sapnap quickly rushed to his side.

"Big Q!" Karl fell to his knees beside his two fiance's.

Sapnap pulled the screaming man onto his lap, "Quackity! Big Q! Can you hear me!? QUACKITY!"

"I don't think he can hear us Sap." Karl said, on the verge of tears while rubbing Quackity's arm.

"Karl, what's going on?!" Sapnap sobbed out, "What's happening to him!?"

Karl shook his head, tears falling from his lashes, "I don't know! I don't know!"

"Quackity please..." Sapnap whispered into the beanie on his fiance's head.

Karl leaned his head on Quackity's back, his eyes screwing shit as he heard the screams echoing through his chest.

Soon the screams turned into raspy, gasping breaths. Quackity's body felt numb and heavy as he slowly faded in and out of memories. Where was he? Was Schlatt there? No, Schlatt was dead, stuck in that gym. He remembered now. He remembered everything.

Slowly, Quackity peeled his eyes open slightly. Red, orange, and yellow on white. Sapnap. That's Sapnap's shirt. He felt someone rubbing his arm. Just like Karl would do. Was Karl there?

Quackity opened his mouth to speak, but all that came out was a quiet rasp.

"Quackity?" Sapnap asked, gently rubbing his fiance's cheek, "are you back with us?"

The man managed to give a small nod. Anything else felt like too much.

"What happened?" Karl asked softly, gently squeezing his arm.

Quackity just buried his head in Sapnap's chest. He didn't want to think about it. He didn't want to think about Schlatt.

"I don't think he can talk right now." Sapnap sighed, "let's get him somewhere safe."

"Yeah, yeah." Karl nodded quickly.

Quackity felt Sapnap gather him in his arms, holding him close as he carried him to a building. He felt safe with them.

Sapnap placed Quackity on a bed, holding his had tightly. Karl day on the other side of the bed, holding his prone fiance's free hand.

Quackity felt tears spring to his eyes as he started to drift off, the exhaustion settling heavily on him. He squeezed their hands as tight as he could.

"Please... Don't leave me..." Quackity breathed, his voice barely audible.

"We won't."

"I promise."
