Stuart, Josiah, Alex, and I were all sitting in the waiting area at a booth with our carry on bags. I was on my laptop looking at funny pictures with Alex while Josiah and Stuart talked about where we would be living and what we would do to get there.

I was nervous to be in the airport. It had been months since I had been around so many people at one time. I was on the inside with Alex on the outside because I thought I might freak out if I was so close to others. It was a little unnerving. But I was calmer since Stuart was sitting right across from me.

We were to board the plan in 20 minutes and I was getting hungry. Even though it was the middle of the night there still a lot of people in the airport. Most were catching up on sleep while others were talking to strangers to pass the time.

"You guys hungry?" Stuart asked as my stomach growled for the tenth time.

"Yea! I'm starving." I said as I looked up from my laptop screen. Stuart winced a little as he looked at me.

"Yea me too!" Alex said and Josiah nodded.

"Alright. Well there's a Subway, pizza place, and a Starbucks in the mini food court down the way. What do you guys want?" he asked as he pulled out his wallet.

"Black forest ham with lettuce, black olives, and a little bit of ranch with shredded cheese sub from subway." I said naming off my favorite sub.

"Meatball sub." Alex said after I got finished.

"And I'll go and help." Josiah said.

"Then we'll be right back." Stuart says as he and Josiah got up and headed for the food court. The airport we were was huge and even had a gift shop. I put up my hood of my sweatshirt and clicked the enter button to go to the next picture.

"So this might be to early to ask but what did Katelyn do to you?" Alex asked after we laughed at a few pictures.

"It's fine. I don't mind. The first few weeks they just forced me to shift a ton of times until it took almost nothing to change. After that they just made me learn how to do a bunch of things like different fighting techniques, how to disengage a bomb, and I learned how to speak over 20 languages. Which I am now fluent in all of them." I explained as I looked up at him.

"We thought they were torturing you or something. That was until we found out about the auction." he said.

"Yea they were, but mostly just preparing me to be a super spy and sell me like a slave." I grimaced, my anger flaring. I suddenly had the urge to punch something and Alex put his hand on my arm as if to bring me back to reality.

"You ok?" he asked looking at me with concern.

"I'm fine. Just the thought made me angry." I said wondering if this had happened before. I couldn't think of a time that I had gotten so angry that I wanted to become violent. And I had been angry a lot while being captive.

"Maybe its just from being around so many people. We're moving to a small town so maybe you'll be fine when we get there." he said as he let his hand fall back in his lap.

"Yea maybe." I said as I turned back to the laptop.

After a while Stuart and Josiah came back with the food. I pushed my laptop away so I could have room to eat. We had about 5 minutes until they would start calling for flight. We all ate quickly and then gathered our bags and headed for our flight gate.

"Flight 267 to London, England is now boarding. Please report to Gate 38B at this time." said a woman over the speaker.

The flight was pretty quiet. Most people were sleeping, including me. I sat down and Stuart sat beside me, I got the window seat. Josiah and Alex sat in front of us. I curled up and laid my head on Stuart's shoulder and fell asleep.

It was a long plain ride and I slept through most of it. Sometimes getting up to the sounds of the annoying snores that were coming from throughout the plain. My ears were really sensitive and when we started to go down to land I whimpered in pain as they popped.

"You ok?" Stuart asked as the plane started to land.

"My ears hurt now." I said as I put my hands over my ears. Stuart laughed.

"So where are we going to live?" I asked as the flight attendant instructed everyone that they could unbuckle our seatbelts and gather our things and exit the plane when she tells us we can.

"Presteigne, Powys is a little town we found while looking for a place where you would be safe. We found a cottage outside of the town by the woods so we can have those horses you've always wanted and you can shift too." Stuart said as he unbuckled and started to get his carryon bag from above.

"Cool! Sounds great!" I said as I unbuckled and took my bag from Stuart. I smiled. I've always wanted a horse of my own.
