𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐧'𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐯:

"Son, wake up it's six already."

"Oh god I need to leave for the hotel!", saying this I sat upright only to see mother standing beside on the bed.

I giggled to myself a bit looking at her confused face and mentally hitting myself for thinking I'm still in the city.

"What are you saying Chittaphon?"

"Nothing mom don't mind me haha."

I made my bed and washed up before taking a shower. I usually skip breakfast and I did the same today.

"Mom do you want me to get some stuff from the market?"

She sighed, "Alright, get anything you want me to make for you and you can meet up with your friends after that. Here take this mon-"

"Mom, I have money on me. You don't need to give me anything. I'm off now."

"No wait son! Please, no matter what, you need to be back before five in the afternoon."

I smiled at her, "Alright, I won't be late. See you later!"

I opened the door and walked out on the street, looking around me it seems like Kingston really changed.

Even five months back when I came here, it was buzzing with people but now the street is almost empty.

"Chittaphon!"

I looked towards the direction of the voice and saw Jaehyun walking towards me.

"Hi Jaehyun. Thank you again for yesterday night."

He smiled at me as we both started walking towards the market.

"How's your mom?"

I asked him and he stopped in the his tracks.

He looked at me and said, "You don't want know how my brother and father died?"

I nodded signalling that I do.

"Jaehyun-ah...I-I'm so sorry."

I held his hand in mine as a few tears slipped from his eyes. Recalling the bloodcurdling incident must've been very difficult for him.

I felt my mouth go dry just hearing it, I can only imagine what it was like witnessing it with your own eyes.

"No it's fine haha. I should be apologising Chittaphon. I have always been so rude to you because of something you can't even control."

I looked down hearing this,

"It's okay, you're not like that anymore. Let's be friends alright?"

He nodded weakly as I went to the vegetable shop, picking up a carrot and inspecting it when suddenly I heard Jaehyun's voice,

"Oh hey Taeyong! Meet Chittaphon, he's the son of Mr and Mrs Leechaiyapornkul."
