Fixing his posture and clearing his throat, Ten pulled his face away from Taeyong's extended hand.

"Yeah, yeah we do. And I'm sorry I got carried away but I don't think we should be doing this. He deserves better."

On getting the message, the vampire in question moved back a few inches, resting his back against the headboard without looking away from the human.

He didn't need to be told twice and the sudden guilt that started piling up tugged at his heartstrings. If he even has a heart.

"Something happened."

"What do you mean?"

"Johnny is usually not this excited"

"And what are you implying?"

Taeyong sighed. "Can we please stop fighting? It's getting very annoying to deal with."

Ten remained quiet, making it clear that he has no intention of letting him off the hook.

"You can accomplish nothing by holding a grudge alright? I hate to say this but you're nothing in front of even Jungwoo. Let alone me."

"But I want revenge! You're telling me that you killed my family and people just because you wanted to show off your stupid castle.

How on Earth do you expect me to be calm and just forget about it?"

"I do understand and trust me, I never cared much about humans. You're not like every other person and I don't want to hurt you in any way. If I knew about you earlier I would've never done this!"

"So you're making up this dumb excuse for me to forgive you?"

"Yeah. Because you can't do anything to bring them back, can you?"

"You make a point."

"I do. Come on please."

Ten stared off into space, eyes mindlessly taking in the murals of flowers and cherubs.

Ironic, he thought.

"I don't know."

"Ten!" A shrill voice chirped from outside the door. Taeyong looked up at that, a small smile playing at his lips.

"Jungwoo."

"Baby? You're here as well?"

The voice said again. Taeyong got up, moving towards the door and opening it wide.

Jungwoo's head poked in from behind Taeyong's shoulder. He skipped inside and settled on the bed, the former leaning against the wall beside the door.

"Hey." Ten smiled at the newcomer.

"What were you talking about? Why wasn't I invited?" He pouted at them.

"Woo. Don't act like you haven't heard everything already."

He scratched the back of his neck at that while giggling.  Suddenly, he leaped forward and grabbed Ten's hand.

"Tennie! I really think that you should just forgive Yongie. He wasn't friends with you back then and that is why he was so reckless. He wouldn't have done it if he knew, right?"

He turned to look at his fiancé who just smiled and nodded. The shortest of the three looked down at their intertwined hands with his lower lip stuck between his pearl white teeth.
