𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐧'𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐯:
Every night, I have been cautiously looking outside the kitchen window in hope of seeing that mysterious man again.
After four days of waiting in a row, there were no signs of him. Something doesn't feel quite right.
My eyes were heavy from the lack of sleep last night. I yawned loudly and let my head rest on my hand which was kept on the table.
*tap tap tap*
My fingernails clicked against the smooth furniture in a bored manner while my eyes followed the pale man around the kitchen.
"Taeyong-ahhh.... I'm hungry but too tired to cook. Give me something to eat."
"Chittaphon Leechaiyapornkul. It's a quarter to one in the afternoon. You woke up less than half an hour back. And you're tired again?
I already went to the farm, picked the vegetables, sold them in the market and bought groceries. If you still plan on ordering me around, don't complain when I make it impossible for you to walk by yourself."
I balked.
"Wh-what?"
He didn't even spare me a glance as he zoomed outside the kitchen, having put all the things he bought in their places. My eyes were burning because I forgot to blink.
D-did he just imply something? No no no I'm overthinking.
I got up from the chair and went to the counter.
"Taeyong what do you want for lunch?"
I yelled, hoping he'd hear me. I thought he didn't when,
"Are you making lunch?"
He walked closer and stood behind me. I nodded as he hmed.
"I don't know. You say."
"Well what did you bring from the market?"
"I got seaweed and spring onions. Hmm.. what else? Oh yeah eggs too. I also met mother and she handed me a jar of Kimchi and fried chicken."
I sighed,
"I really don't understand what I should do to make her stop doing this."
"I don't see the problem in it Ten. She wants to take care of us. Let her do what she wants stop being such a moaner."
I sighed louder and bent over the counter and grabbed the so called 'jar of kimchi' across me.
While doing so, my hips brushed against Taeyong momentarily as he sucked in a sharp breath and moved back quickly.
"U-uh sorry."
He shook his head and covered his face.
"P-perhaps, you are blushing?"
He looked at me dead in the eye and removed his hand,
"No I'm not. So what are you making?"
His flustered demeanor vanished so quickly that it made me believe he has no feelings or perhaps is not a human at all. Despite his control over his body, I couldn't help but stutter.
"O-oh I...I am making rice?"
"And?"
He raised his brow."Sea-seaweed so..up, and steamed eggs. I-is that al..right?"
He grinned at me,
"Of course haha. Stuttering again?"
I turned back to preparing the rice, hearing his footsteps fading out.
