After yet another tragedy, Mike has given Eleven an empty promise that they'd meet again, but how could they? Now closed off from everyone alive (or not) that she loves, El is left struggling for a place. When she meets Kelsey and Chris, she begins to pretend they're not who they really are, so she can remember the people in yet another life she has to leave behind.
