Chapter 3: Cats and Dogs

It's my first day at Ouran Elite Private Academy. After discovering that I had been reincarnated into an unknown world I finally feel as I am headed into the right direction. I feel a little ashamed of myself for not realizing where I was earlier but it had been so long since I had watched that anime.

I am in the world of Ouran High School Host Club.

My first day went as many of them do, I couldn't sleep at all at night being too anxious for school. When I arrived to school I had to fill out many forms as a new student, news of my entrance spread quickly. Being the second honor student to enter, some students gossiped down the hallway saying that the schools reputation was going down if they kept letting commoner's into the school. I ignored all the obnoxious comments, but It helped me understand why the main character kept her distance in the beginning.

These stupid rich kids don't know any better than to be obnoxious.

The academy was huge, not just in the anime but in real life it was enormous. The school was composed of over a dozen buildings and one large main building, the architecture seemed to draw inspiration from famous landmarks like Buckingham palace. It was like taking a step outside of Japan and walking into mid nineteenth century Paris, France. Inside the buildings felt even more extravagant than the outside with the large windows overlooking out to the rest of the academy. It's safe to say I was lost almost immediately.

My first day of school finished well, I didn't get the chance to make any friends since most of the students looked down on me. After classes I decided to find somewhere to study, since I had already received a mountain of homework to do even though it was my first day. I walked down the hallways endlessly, unable to find a single library until I came across a music room.

Music Room 3 read the sign above the door.

"Was it three or one?" I whispered to myself placing my hand on my chin. I couldn't remember if the host club was in music room three or one and the last thing I wanted was to run into the main cast as a whole on my first day. That was much more stress than I could handle, though I will admit I am curious to see the host club in action. I scratched my head torn on what I should do, I took a deep breath before closing my eyes placing my hand on the door handle. I began to count down before I opened the door, giving myself a little bit of confidence.

When I opened the door, there was the host club.

I didn't have time to take in the scenery as a vase was falling onto the ground, without a second thought I reacted immediately catching the vase in my hands. The room gasped as I held the vase in my hands, I looked down to see it was THE VASE.

A beautiful light blue vase with aqua detailing all along it, and two emerald stones at the bottom of the vase with aqua handles on each side. "Uhh Thank you" the person leaning over the stand thanked me.

It was the main character of this anime, Haruhi. A girl who unfortunately looked like a guy due to getting gum stuck in her brown hair right before the school year started and chopping all of her hair off. Not to mention with her bulky glasses and androgynous clothing, it was no wonder everyone mistook her for a guy.

"Nice save, new student" A twin said peaking from behind of Haruhi.

"You almost cost the host club 8 million yen, honor student" the other one said as he peaked from behind Haruhi as well.

Haruhi's face went blank as she began to try to count how many thousands were in a million yen. My face also went white as I realized that I completely stopped the reason as to why Haruhi joins the host club.
