Henrik's POV
"Anything?" I asked Perry.

"No sir."

"Let me understand this. The last time you saw her was..."

"Shortly after the wedding. She was asking questions about Victoria Byrne. I gave her the address to the asylum. She went there and she asked to call you. I gave her your address. I went on vacation after that."

And now all her things are gone. Her room is empty. "Thank you."

Victoria Byrne's funeral was small. By small I mean the servants, Vivi and myself. She didn't want anyone else not even our friends in attendance. I understand the pain of losing a parent so I didn't push. I allowed her to grieve in her own way. It seems though that her grief is pushing us apart. In the weeks that have followed I have felt lonely. She doesn't want me to touch her and even simple conversations turn into arguments. We haven't been married a year and we are like this. I'm sad to say she has changed.

My only focus has become work and expecting my child. We had to get a new doctor when the old one suddenly left town. According to the new one, it's only a matter of days before Vivi is due. I'm excited. It's just a matter of days now and I can welcome the newest member of my family.

"Sir, sorry to interrupt." Perry returned to me. "There was an incident in Paris. Your presence is required at the company."

"What incident?"

"A fire broke out. There are several casualties."

I don't want to leave especially now that the baby is close. If I hurry back, I'll be in time. I have to go to Paris.

Armor's POV
"Push!"

The stubborn girl tightened her knees together. She gave me a defiant look. "Go to hell!" She breathed hard.

"The child will die!" The doctor warned her. "You have to push."

"I said no! You're not having my baby!" She broke into a painful scream.

"Can't you reach in and pull it out?"

"No I can't. She has to push. If she won't do it, this child will die and she can lose her life as well."

I didn't experience this stubbornness with Aria. She gave birth like most women do and I took the little boy home. This baby can't die. This baby has to live. Harriet had complications and the little girl was still. That was a devastation to my plans. The girl was supposed to be Henrik's as well. She was to be part of his will... my way in. In that regard my plans hit a brick wall and I'm not about to lose this child too!

I gripped her chin. She is still in the strait jacket. We don't want any drama. "Listen to me child. You're going to kill this baby with all this stubbornness. All I want is the child to live. We both want that. Let's just do this and be done with it."

"You have taken everything from me! Don't take my baby. Please don't take my baby."

"I'm going to take your baby to Henrik. He is going to raise your child. I will have nothing to do with it. Do you want to hurt this baby?"

"No."

"Then push."

She started crying and I feared for the child until she started pushing. It didn't take long before the baby crowned. In a matter of minutes the cries of the child filled the room. "It's a boy!" The doctor announced.

I quickly received the little boy with a full head of dark curly hair.

"Let me see him." An exhausted Vivi pleaded. "Let me hold him please."
