Vivi's POV
Sly felt my glare. She gave me a quick side glance and chose to continue with her breakfast like what she has suggested is not outrageously stupid. It's a death sentence. I am the queen of impulsive irrational thinking but even I can see something is wrong with what she has said.

"Do you want to see me dead? Is that it?"

"Hardly!" She responded with wide eyes. She eased them back to the mere slits they are. "Li Jie is a nice guy. But nice guys make the darkest villains. It's been two days now and he's quiet. The longer he stays that way the more final your sentence will be. I think that before it gets there, grab Ling from school and disappear."

"And have the entire triad on my tail? Do you know how much her grandfather loves her? Do you know how much he likes me? He doesn't. We get along but if he gets an excuse to get rid of me he will."

"You can't blame him. He wanted his son to marry an Asian girl. He married an Irish one with red hair. These cases as rare in our circle."

"I'm not stealing Chen. I'll make things right with Zeke. I just have to find him. I have never known that my husband is this impossible to find until now. Do you know where he is?"

"Yes."

"Why didn't you tell me?" I flung my arms in the air.

"You never asked me!" She shouted at me. "Moving on to our second problem. Your sister. Let's abduct her and make her pay for what she has put you through."

After I told Sly about Harriet, her solution was extermination. She kept asking why I let it go on for so long. In my defense, murder was not on my mind then. It is now and I'll do it without batting an eyelash. She's a cruel person. "And Theo? He thinks she's his mom."

"Back to our first plan. Take Theo, take Long and disappear. Simple."

"Again, I'm not taking kids on a run with me! Bottom line, I'm not running. The part about Harriet, I agree. Let's go!"

"But I'm eating!" She whined.

"The food is not going anywhere." I dragged her out.

We went to the neighborhood Henrik and my husband live in. I find it strange that she was next door and I never sensed it. Twins should be able to sense such things! Why didn't I know?

I'm thinking about those photographs and I can't help but feel Henrik did that on purpose. It was just a day or two after we had him over for dinner. No doubt he looked into Zeke after he met him. He saw his mom at that brunch and he decided to put on a show with my wicked twin.

As we watched Henrik's house, I noticed a nostalgic look on Sly's face. "What? The kimchi will still be there when we get back."

"It's not the kimchi. You know something Red, I have always wanted this life." She pointed at Henrik's house. "A big house, a husband and s baby. The normal life."

"It's not as normal as they make it sound. A big house means a rich husband. A rich husband will never have time for you. Secondly, his world tends to be fake and the pressure to be a trophy wife along with it. All he will want from you is that heir to carry his name and once he gets his heir, you're useless to him."

I am aware of my bitter tone. That is exactly what would have happened between me and Henrik. I stopped mattering to him after he held his son. Even Harriet was put out of use. He saw me and saw a baby maker. It angers me so but nothing good comes from pointless rage.

"Who broke you?"

"He did." I pointed to the dashing handsome devil in a three piece suit tailored for his body. He dragged his fingers through the perfect curls on his head. When I looked at Sly she was literally drooling over him.
