Maria dreamed about a place that felt like a throne room. Mr. James was dressed like a king. he wore a black robe with golden embroidery. He laid dead on the stairs, his clothes drenched with blood. His dull blue eyes had pain in them. Hiro sat on the throne with an evil smirk on his face, blood dripping from his long silver blade.
Maria woke up with tears in her eyes anger boiling in her. Hiro slept beside her so close that she could feel his breath on her cold skin.
She wanted to smack him in the face for what he did, she wanted to scream in his ears and ask him why he was so heartless.

She sat at the window when Hiro walked to her to give Maria a morning hug but she backed up.
"Hiro, I've been thinking about this for a long time and I think we should call off our engagement
You know we got married so that our countries could unite. Now I see no reason for us to be together. Our land is lifeless and as or relationship."
She took off her necklace in which she hung her wedding ring and placed it in Hiro's palm.
"It's over Hiro." She told him and turned around, holding back her tears. she was about to leave when Hiro hugged her from behind his arms wrapped around her chest
"But mia we love each other."
"Hiro black well, I was just trying to live like a happy couple but I fear my feelings for you couldn't change into love." Saying this she left the room.
______________________________________"where is that idiot anyway?" Zero rushed in the loby where Kai and Hiro we're waiting for Maria and Zero.
"I'm right here," Kai spoke.
"Surprisingly this time I wasn't talking about you" zero told him." Are you insane, hiro? You could have stopped her."
Hiro: "but she wasn't ready to stay."
Zero:" don't let your ego get in the way."
Hiro:" she had her reasons to leave me."
Zero:" probably it took her a thousand reasons to leave but it will take one reason for you to make her stay.

It's been two days since they left the palace, Earning the dangerous glares of the people they finally reached the land of ruins.
Legend says a human stole the stone from the pureblood, during his travel alpha cursed him into becoming a tree that would protect the stone from its enemies.
The land was dead, the trees had dried and branches had broke. The brown land was damp.

"Can we rest for a while?" Kai hugged his knees as he sat on a rock.
"let's see if there is a safe place to take a break" hiro advised.
The cave had a wide entrance and was at ground level.
"Gross, it smells like mold," Kai commented. He made himself comfy in the far end of the cold dark cave.
"It's freezing in here." Zero hugged himself.
Kai had already taken out his sleeping bag and was asleep, zero sat at the mouth of the cave as he held a stick and drew random stuff on the humid clay.
Maria sat against the wall her eyes closed, Hiro was trying to figure out the map.

"I'm thirsty maybe we could find some water nearby." Kai insisted zero to go with him after he woke up. After they were gone Hiro walked to Maria who had her eyes closed.
"Mia. I know something's bothering you. Being quiet won't solve the problem. If you tell me maybe we can figure it out."
"It nothing really." she nodded her head.

"I can wait until you open yourself to me."

"My dad."

"I know. He is the lord of the originals." He spoke." That day before he met you he visited me in secret and told me you've been watched ever since."
She got up tears formed in her eyes, she was about to walk away when Hiro held her forearm.
"Mia."
"I ... I need some time Luis." Her voice was shaky. And she walked out of the cave.
"Well well seems like she believed his father more than a boy whom she met a week ago." Hiro stood face to face with maria's adoptive dad.
" what is it that calls you here lord Albert." He spoke with hatred and bitterness in his voice.

"The thing is you see Hiro Black Well. I will make her kill you. Maybe that's the reason for my presence.
The seed of hatred that I grew in her heart won't lessen but it will grow over time. And don't forget I've been watching you black."
Hiro unleashed the sword from its cover and charged towards him.
"It's overlord Albert," he shouted as he ran towards him.
Maria who wasn't there a while ago stood between them her expression stunned.
Blood dripped on the floor from his sword. Maria stared into his painful red eyes as he held his pain.his complexion had a yellow tone.
He pulled the sword out of his flesh.
Maria looked back but his dad had already gone. she helped Hiro as he sat down on the ground. Maria pulled out a silk scarf from her bag as she lifted the shirt off his stomach and wrapped it around his waist.
Her hand on his chest and the other on the wall behind him. her leg between his as she leaned in closer until their lips meet. Hiro moved his hand behind her neck to pull her deeper into the kiss.
"I'm sorry." She told him her voice barely audible.
