I Won't Hurt You

Chapter No 17

Kai had been talking since they left. The only thing that they didn't find was water the sun was asleep and it was almost midnight.
"Kai." Zero said annoyed. He regretted coming with him on a water hunt.
"What?" He replied Zero shook his head in disappointment. Kai opened his mouth to speak when Zero stopped him when his finger landed on his mouth.
"Do you think you can run that pretty mouth of yours whenever you want?" He blushed hard hearing that word.
Thank God it was night and Zero didn't notice it.
"But."
"Shh."
"Fine."
After that Kai didn't utter a word from his mouth. They got back to the cave. Hiro napped in the moonlight his back against the bumpy wall. Maria's head rested on his shoulder while she was asleep.
"Brother," Zero whispered- shouted. Hiro opened his eyes when he heard Zero. His hazel eyes sparkled in the moonlight.
"How did you get hurt?" Zero asked when he saw his wound.
"Please hand me the sleeping bag from my backpack." He requested kai, his voice sleepy.
After he laid the bag on the ground Hiro lifted Maria in a bridal style and rested her on the sleeping bag. Hiro brushed a strand away from her eyes and tugged it behind her ear. He gently kissed her forehead before he walked to Kai and Zero who waited for him outside.
"So you didn't tell her before, that her father was lord of the orignals." Zero spoke after Hiro told what happened when they were gone.
"I didn't get a chance to tell her, and when we left it wasn't the right time." Hiro rubbed his arm.

Maria dreamed about the night his dad died. After Hiro came to her at the party he met her dad in a club.they had a fight and Mr James sat in the car, anger boiling in him. He shut the car's door hard.
Hiro had failed the car brakes and his dad crashed in to the tree.
She woke up feeling disgusted and bitter about the dream. She lifted sheets of off her body and sat at the cave's enterance as she watched beautiful sun rise upon the marvelous extension of the sky.
It was the first time she saw sun rise.
" Maria." Zero put his hand on her shoulder as he sat beside her. "Your dad." He finally let those words slip out of his mouth.
"I know." She spoke." He's not dead."
She was in her thoughts when a vision appeared before her eyes.Hiro ripped the necks of the guard with his silver blade as he entered the throne room.his eyes milky white just like orignals.
"Maria" zero called his name almost three times.
"Yes." She answered as she faced zero besides him.
His eyes sorrowful, deep and full of pain as if he could see right through her.A scar crossing his lips which maria never noticed before.
"Your scar." Just realizing she shouldn't have said it.
"Little sister silver blades do leave scars on vampire bodies." He let out a small laugh.
"What caused that scar?" She asked as she gazed at the scar on those beautiful lips.
"My dad." He stopped for a moment." He was going to hurt my mom when I came between and the knife cut my lip."it bleeded a lot." Tears formed in his deep eyes. She pulled him closer in to a hug as maria patted his back to comfort her .
" I guess there's no place for me when siblings are showing affection towards each other.
I'll just ask for a hug from Hiro."
"Sure he'll give you a very satisfying squeeze." She teased him.
In the morning zero changed in to last pair of clothes. He wore a maroon deep neck with black torn jeans. His gray eyes a tint of black and hairs brushed properly making him look more sexier.
Kai wore red tea and green shorts.( Author: this boy does not have fashion sence at all )
" Do you even brush your hair, messy boy" zero handed him the brush.
Hiro was in black turtle neck and black jeans which gave him more of a mature look. His hairs brushed to a side.
Maria wasn't ready yet but she had to change in to a crop top with black beggy pants . Her waist length hairs tied in a ponytail as always . Dark circles under her beautiful green eyes.

"Who would have built a house in the middle of now where?" Kai crushed a caterpillar with his sneakers." Can we check in there if we could get some water." He pushed the door open and walked in.
The house had almost 3 rooms , a living room and a small L shaped kitchen. The furniture was kind of spooky. A skeleton hung in the corner of the living room
Reptiles kept in glass jars on the shelf. The one above them all had eyes.
"Does the owner of the house practice black magic."
Just as soon Kai uttered those words the main door behind them closed with such a force that no one dared to look back except .....
