Mason POV:
It was training day, you had a match last night and also met a pretty lady.
You send her a good morning text, not expecting her to reply since it was pretty early, it was 5am, training started at 7am, so you did have some time to kill, but you have to pick Ben up, you guys decided on picking each other some days, to one safe some petrol, and to have karaoke. You normally left the house at about 6:15 or at least around that time.
By 5:55, you were ready, you had your breakfast, so you were just chilling on your phone waiting for it to hit 6:15, so you could go pick Ben up.
Once it hit 6:15, you grabbed your training stuff and car keys and headed out, Ben house was about 15 minute drive, and 25 minute drive to training.
Safe to say Ben was not a morning person, the car would be silent the whole car ride, he didn't normally fully wake up until he had his breakfast, and coffee at training, the only peace you ever got from Ben was the drive.
It was no different today, he was close to falling asleep, until he realised he was at the training centre.
You got changed into your training gear, and went to the canteen to get food.
"Mason Mount" you heard someone say behind you while you were grabbing your food, you turned around to see Tammy "you have a girlfriend and you never told us" he said which caused you to widen your eyes "i don't have a girlfriend" you said confused on where he was getting this from "that's not what the media think" he said and handed you his phone.
You saw picture of you and y/n, when you were helping her home. "you got this wrong, shes new to London, and she was lost and asked me for help, so i helped her house, we exchanged numbers and have texted couple times nothing more than that" you became worried about what y/n would say, what would she think, would she hate you?, would she ignore you.
You were taken out of your own world when frank lampard called you to his office "ohhh Mason the trouble maker" Ben said you were very grateful he decided to finally speak at that point.
You headed to his office, you knocked on the door before hearing a faint come in, you sat down and waited for Frank to speak.
"i know it's none of my business what happens in your own life, but i came across a article about you" you already knew what it was gonna be about "i don't have a girlfriend, i was helping her home, she was lost" you spoke back "no it's nothing to do about that, there no good way of saying this, she's my daughter, moved to La five years and lost contact with me, until two years ago she congratulated me on my new baby" he said which shocked you y/n the girl you met yesterday was your manager's daughter that you never seemed to know about "you don't happen to have her number do you? i've lost her number it never saved on my phone" you grabbed your phone before giving him his own daughters phone number "thank you, you can go back out i'll be out soon" you mumbled a thank you before heading back out
"so what happened?" Ben asked as soon as you arrived "Frank was asking about the girl i was spotted with, it's his daughter" you said which caused them to be shocked "i thought he had three daughters so that means he had four wow good luck to him" Tammy joked
After talking about it for a little while, training started, it was light training as we had a match the day before.
Before you could head back inside with the other Frank pulled you to the side again.
"i know this may sound ridiculous but i don't want you to date my daughter" he said which shocked you, you literally just met her yesterday and suddenly thought you guys were going to start dating "who says that we are gonna date? we met yesterday" you said back to him "i know but i want to let you know incase you did" you didn't reply you just nodded and headed inside and headed to Ben to play fifa for a bit than headed home.
