Mason POV
You were back in London after the Christmas break, you were finally back in training, it felt good to get back, you had a home game in 2 days time.

You had a plan, you would drop off tickets at Olivia house, a ticket for this game, with a note, saying how it was from you, and too wait for you after the game.

Part of you felt like she wouldn't turn up, her dad was no longer manager, no doubt he hated the new manager, taking her dads job.

You had gotten her a Chelsea top with Mount on the back, and the ticket for the match.

Part of you had already made your mind up about her not coming to the game, but at least you tried.

You were in game mood, so you would have no idea until after the match if Olivia turned up, part of you didn't want to look around for her incase she wasn't here, or if she was with a guy.

She normally in the family section, since her dad liked having her close, and so he knew where she was at all time, and that she was safe.

So you got tickets at the same bit, you knew exactly where she sat, it was always the same seat, it was her favourite seat, when you guys were together you remember her mentioning it. You thought it was cute.

You were starting the game, the first game back under Thomas Tuchel, you didn't even start, you were on the bench, part of you did miss Frank, he was like your football dad, your second dad.

After all a new manager never guarantees your place on the pitch, you had to fight for your place, there was always the chance of player getting brought in, who would fight you for your place.

It was in the second half you got taken on, it was currently 0-0, as they say a new manager takes time to settle in, he had been in the job 2 days, he wasn't going to get everything right within those days, it was more trial and error.

The game finished 0-0 against Newcastle, you wanted the three point, but you couldn't get everything you wanted, you needed to work for it. You were just hoping you were in his plans.

You had gone down the tunnel, and gotten the after match talk, before you got changed and ready to leave.

You walked around a bit trying to spot Olivia, but since you couldn't you made the painful walk to your car, until you heard your name being called and someone running over to you.

"Mason, oh my god stop walking" You heard Olivia say "sorry i couldn't spot you, i thought you didn't come" you explained "it's fine, sorry i knew one of the Newcastle player and we got in a conversation, i'm so sorry" She apologised "it's fine don't be silly, so do you want to get in the car we can go for a drive?" you asked "sure" she smiled
End Of Mason POV

You had gotten in his car, and he began driving "where are we going?" you asked "it's a surprise" he said "hey! you know i hate surprises" you complained "that's the whole point.

You had no idea how long you had been driving for, Mason was letting you play your music, it was you playlist from when you would go on drives together, so he knew it, and was singing some of them, parts of them had duos and he made you sing the parts.

When it had come to a stop, you had looked outside, and saw London, it was a view of houses, places, it was lit up since it was nighttime.

"wow" you said "Olivia, i need to apologise, i realised over Christmas how much i need you in my life, and how no one will ever come close to you, i made the biggest mistake ever meeting up with Chloe i know that now, by i'm being honest nothing happened, she needed advice, she's getting to know this guy, but he also a football player, and wanted to know if i was ok about it, i don't know why it happened so late at night, but she called me at night, and she was crying i thought she was hurt, we got to talking and we both realised there would never be anything more, i was in love with you, and she was getting to know a guy" Mason explained "you hurt me, i can't make myself to be a mug, but i love you too, and i need you in my life, but i want to take this slow, we got together to fast, everything was fast pace, let's go at our own pace, don't tell anyone we are dating or talking again" You said, with Mason agreeing
