It was the day of your album release, you didn't want a over the top night, so you decided to go over to your dads, and celebrate there, with him and Christine, you would live stream on instagram the countdown.
But first there was a Chelsea game, they were playing Southampton, and of course you were going, in the 6 months you were away, you watched the matches online, even if it meant waking up at a ridiculous time. Of course it did hurt seeing Mason, but he was Chelsea star boy, and you were glad your dad didn't punish him and keep him on the bench.
You arrived at stadium twenty minutes before kick off, which you personally thought was great timing, you had taken your car, and got parked easily, you would be taking Frank home.
The first half was quiet boring, Mason was a substitute, Chelsea had a game midweek, which Mason started, and no doubt your dad didn't want him to start the game, but would most likely taken him on in the second half.
Which you were right about, Mason had came on at the start of the second half.
The second half was much more lively, Mason had picked up a goal and a assist, it felt weird to celebrate, he was your ex boyfriend, and you were celebrating his success. It's not like he will be celebrating your new album today.
You were meeting your dad outside, you knew he would take forever, which is why you took a slow walk.
"oh sorry" you apologised after bumping into someone "it's fine" they said, you looked up and saw Ben Chilwell "oh your the gaffers daughter, and Mason ex" he said, like everything just clicked in his head "yes" you replied awkwardly "sorry that was totally out of place, saying your Mason ex" he apologised "it's fine, don't worry about it" you smiled, before walking away.
It was quite awkward, one of Mason best friend, and team mate, speaking to you, you wondered if he would tell Mason about your bumping into each other, probably, not that you cared.
You were waiting in your car for your dad, which seemed to take forever, you had saw most of the Chelsea team leaving, you thankfully missed Mason.
After like another 20 minutes, you finally saw your dad walking out, but he wasn't alone, he was walking with Mason, until they went there ways, and your dad made his way over to you, and Mason made his towards his own car.
"hey you alright?" he asked as soon as he got in his car "yep, hey why were you speaking to Mason" you asked "we both just happened to be walking out together, and it would be weird not to be speaking to your own player" he replied, knowing it wasn't the full truth "yeah, would seem very weird" you answered before making your way home.
"so are you excited about your album tonight" your dad started up the conversation "yes, I've worked so hard on it, and I'm glad my studio allowed me to make it" you replied "I still think you should change studios, the amount of times they had turned down your song, without hearing it first" he was right, and you knew that "I'm trying to, but it's hard to find one, that will allow me freedom, and will actually help with my album, and will listen to my songs"
As you arrived back, takeout just arrived, you guys decided on a Chinese last night.
You had some time to eat before going on live, which is why you chose to enjoy your food for once rather than eating it too fast and not enjoying it enough.
When it did come around to the live you were all crowded around your phone, you were answering some questions, and missing out the ones that had to do with Mason, it did annoying you, you guys had been broken up for 6 months now.
The minute your album came out, you did a quick promo before ending the live, and posting on instagram and twitter.

"My new album is official out, i can't believe it, go stream if, go show some support, i love everyone that was so supportive on this album, couple people to thank, my manager, my studio team, my ex boyfriend, thank you so much for helping this happen."
You listen to your album, you wanted to hear your dad reaction to it,
"oh wow that was amazing" he said giving you a massive hug "i love you so so so much" you said "i love you too, you are never leaving London again" he laughed "maybe you should start travelling the world more with me then" you suggested "i'll wait until i get sacked" he joked.
By half 10 you were so tired, you were ready to drop at any given moment, which is why you forced yourself to do your skincare, you knew you would regret it in the morning.
Just as you were falling into a sleep, your phone went off, you had no idea why you decided on checking it, but it was safe to stay you regret.
