Seonghwa liked Hongjoong. A lot, to be honest. The younger's cute smile was absolutely adorable, his pointy nose always crinkled whenever he smiled and his voice was probably the prettiest on this planet.

The two of them often tried to spend time together, but more and more time started passing between their hangouts, both simply being too busy for spending time together. Their cuddle sessions seemed to completely disappear somehow, both never being in one room at times other between 3 to 7 AM. As soon as their comeback has been announced to them, Hongjoong basically started living in his studio, always coming home late at night, too tired to do anything but sleep. Seonghwa could only watch helplessly, whenever he tried talking with his leader, he just got the same excuse "I'll be back soon, I just have to change a small tune, don't worry."

Obviously, he didn't hold what he said. As his lack of attention, love, and warmth started showing badly and making him sad almost immediately after waking up, Seonghwa decided to spend his time with Wooyoung and San instead of Hongjoong, the troublemakers all too happy to have him with them. It got them out of a lot of trouble for sure.

Seonghwa met with them after the comeback show too, staying up long to celebrate the success of their newest song "Take me home" with soju and chicken. They had a lot of time, their comeback took place in the morning and they had no schedule after. So the three went out, only taking their keys, money, and credit cards with them.

Hongjoong felt bad the whole time for not reserving some time for Seonghwa despite knowing how sad the older could get. He thought about ways to make it up to him, going out to buy the raven-haired's favorite snacks. He neatly placed them on the older's desk in their shared room, leaving cute sticky notes on every piece with sweet things like "For my favorite Hyung" or "Hope you like them ♡'･ᴗ･'♡".

Hopefully, the older would get the message.

He didn't. Seonghwa didn't get the memo. Not even after two whole months passed. He didn't ask about Hongjoong's sticky notes (they were getting bolder and bolder) nor did he ask for the leader himself. He just continued to vibe around with Woosan, going to dance practice with them or eating something, getting drunk, or going to the cinema.

He just...avoided Hongjoong and, really, the blonde was getting angry. So angry, that he needed to rant with somebody to get it out of his system.

And who was better for that than Kang Yeosang himself? The skater boy with the dryest humor between Seoul and Busan? Right, nobody.

And so, Hongjoong and Yeosang were sitting together in Yeosang's shared room with Jongho (they literally shooed the poor maeknae away) on the brunette's bed, watching Kdrama, eating ice cream and ranting together about Seonghwa.

"You know, how is he not getting it?! Is he dumb?!"

"Well, you gotta admit that Hyung ain't always the smartest."

"But Sangie, I basically told him I like him and that I'm deeply sorry for shutting him out. Every fucking single day for the last month. I mean, why doesn't he react?!?!"

Yeosang nodded, the very serious expression on his face only disturbed by the whipped cream on the tip of his nose:"I get your point, Joong. Did you try confronting him?"

"Yes." Hongjoong pouted and scooped the creamy ice on his spoon, trying to bring it to his mouth without dirtying the white sheets:"He's not getting it. Stupid Seonghwa." He huffed, clearly depressed. Yeosang comfortingly patted his fluffy hair, then the two continued eating ice cream and ranting.
