● The Race part 1 ●

(Next Morning, Annabella's Pov)

Feeling the warm sun shine down onto me, it felt nothing but coazy, as if the hugged with its warm embrace. Speaking of embrace, My eyes still closed I turn to my side facing Alberto. As I snuggle in closer to him, I felt nothing but air

Opening my eyes slightly as everything around me was clearing up, he wasn't there.

"Alberto?" I ask around, turning to my surroundings. He was nowhere to be seen. As I stood up to look over the ocean, second guessing he might of actually left...

"Hey! Annabella! Down here!" Hearing the sound of a upbeat attitude, I look down at the grass. Seeing his sea form wave to me, having something blue and white in his arms. I smile as I felt my cheeks rose at his cute dorky grin. He soon changes back to his human form.

"Morning!" I greeted him, he continued walking another way, I turn to the town to hear from a distance brass band magic playing. My smile soon turn into a frown, as I remembered, the team has been split since Alberto isn't going to help with the eating pasta. Now Luca has to do two parts, while Giulia has to only swim. I could only wish I stayed with the two and help them with the eating but...

I was more committed onto helping Alberto, if it means anything that I'd get to spend time with him until I have to go back to school...

Until I knew it, I hear grunting near me. Looking down I see Alberto trying to climb up. Worried he might slip, I get down to the small room were all items has been trashed, grabbing his arm as I help him up

Seeing him pant and kneel down, I turn to the town over his shoulder. As I start to feel the race is almost about to begin within minutes.

"Alberto...i know what happened between you and Luca last night, a-and I know you don't wanna go to that race because it upsets you but..." I start to fumble in my fingers as Alberto turns looks over to me and stood up to talk better

"--b..but I still wanna be there for the team. I know you and Luca are really close and he hurt you, it would mean alot if you could maybe cheer for him through out the race?" I ask him as he looks away unsurely, he climbs over to the rooftops as I follow behind him. Still waiting for an answer from him, as he clenched his wrist together

As be sighed, he turned around, with his arms crossed as he had a bright smile in his face.

"If, we go to the race. I have a request." He asks me, looking over to him unsure what his request might be. He tapped the drawing which it was wripped in half, showing it to me. There it had different drawn items in the paper, but there, who I think was Alberto and Luca. I, was in it. Where I was on Alberto arms having an ice cream in one hand, and the other had flowers. Small hearts were hovering over my head

I turn over to look at Alberto, as he looks away with a shy grin and redness hint in his cheeks. As he scratched behind his head and stuttered

"I-If Luca and Giulia doesn't win the race. And...i know you have to go back to school...maybe, we can get ice cream a-and hang out..?" He mumbled to me. I felt my cheeks flourished in red as I smile happily to him.

"Y-yeah! That sounds fun...I would like to love too.." I reply to his answer, his eyes looks down at me in surprise as he chuckles shyly

"H-ah..? Seriously? I...Yeah!" He smiles happily, before we knew it, he hear loud cheering begin from our distance. We turn over to the town to were the cheering was coming from. I gasps

"The race..! It began, t-the boat will take long to head back a-and there's only Giulia and Luca in the race! i-i can't swim and you c-can't show yourself..! How are we--!" I start to become A stuttering mess. Before I knew It, his arms wrapped around my arms until suddenly he sweeps under me feet and puts his arm under my feet.
