TW: Pan!c attack, unhappy ending, mention of bl00d and g0re

"FRICK." Virgil screamed as he threw yet another one of his lamps across the room. He was starting to act like Logan, he realized, but right now he didn't really care...which was weird for him because usually that realization would have made him unbearably anxious. He wasn't feeling like himself though. Not right now.

Not when he had been hearing the tone in Roman's obvious voice get more and more tense from up in Thomas's front room. When he could hear who he assumed was Patton getting quieter and more weary by the second. Not when he could feel Thomas's anxiety rising in his chest...slowly, but it still meant something was up.

And all of this right after Virgil told Thomas what he had been hiding from him since he first rose up in his living room. He used to be a dark side...and now Thomas knew.

Virgil rubbed his hands over his eyes absent mindedly, knowing there was nothing he could do about his situation but dreading everything that was coming all the same. It was that Snake he had too blame for all of this. If he hadn't shown up, maybe Virgil could have explained to Thomas before he decided to come and ruin it all. He could have talked to him, he could have-

Wait...there was something Virgil could do about this. Not that it would help what was going on with Thomas, but... it sure would help Virgil to pass time.

Virgil sighed and pulled himself out of his bed, not even caring about how cold the wood floor was on his feet.

Wow, he sure was out of it.

Then he tried his best to stomp his way over to Deceit's room, trying to seem intimidating but really just anxious and looking for a reason to scream. But as he approached the door...something didn't seem right...

Virgil pounded on the door.
"DECEIT! I KNOW YOU'RE IN THERE!!! OPEN UP!!!" he screamed. He hadn't even screamed in his face yet and he already felt better. But then again...that kind of made sense. Just considering the fact that Deceit was good at manipulating people...and he would probably make Virgil feel worse if anything when Virgil thought about it.

Gosh, he was so stupid. What was he thinking? Coming all the way down here just to get manipulated and probably head back to his room worse off than before...this was so STUP-

Wait, why hadn't Deceit answered the door?

Virgil knocked again.
"Helloooo?!?!? It's Anxiety. I believe that we have a few things to TALK about!!! And one of us has a few things to APOLOGIZE FOR!!!!!"
Virgil waited...but...

Nothing. Usually that would have gotten him riled up. Usually starting an argument like that would leave De feeling what looked like accomplished and cocky and it would leave Virgil leaving feeling like a complete disappointment, which he was, but he didn't need Deceit to tell him that.
"DECEIT!!!" Virgil yelled again, resorting to banging on the door until he got an answer.

Finally, the door opened just a crack.
"Oh, would you give up already, you moron??? He's not here!!!" complained a whiny, shrill voice.

Virgil rolled his eyes. "Remus. Tell me where he is."
Remus scoffed. "Well good to see you too after all these years. Oh, thank you for asking!! It is a new morning star! See, after the other one broke when-"
"Remus." Virgil finally said, his voice coming out distorted due to his now extreme frustration, but also from a major shot of anxiety that had just panged him in the chest, most likely from events occurring upstairs.

Remus jumped a little, staring at Virgil for a moment, before he suddenly nodded in understanding.
"Oh, I see. What's wrong, Anx? Your anxiety acting up because De is upstairs doing all your dirty work???"
