So Were Neighbors...

After I got home from my weird night I went to straight to bed, except I didn't sleep at all. Instead I was up all night over a stupid boy who I don't even know and am never going to see again.

The sun was now shining brightly through my bedroom window and blinding me.
I get up not phased by my sleepless night and head to my kitchen to make myself coffee. I bought a machine yesterday because I'm becoming an adult.
I follow the directions and wait impatiently for my drink. I needed an energy boost especially after my sleepless night.

When it's done I pour it into my cup with milk and sugar before taking a seat on my couch. I turn on my tv and a cartoon that I'm not familiar with is on. So I change the channel to Law and Order, which is a weird way to start my day but honestly who the fuck cares. I sip my coffee and enjoy my show.
It was Sunday which meant I worked tomorrow. I only had one plan for the day, Relax and do absolutely nothing.
Well that was the plan until I heard loud shuffling outside my apartment.

For the first ten minutes I shrug it off but my drink is now gone and I needed to put it in the sink, so checking what was going on outside was logical (at least to me).
I make my way back to my kitchen and toss my cup in the sink. I then open my door to see about 10 boxes sitting in the hallway and the door across from me slightly wedged open.

I walk out into the grey carpeted hallway and begin to try and find Marina the old woman who has lived across from me for three years. I was going to ask if she needed help moving some of the stuff into her place, but I don't find her. I instead find him.
The boy, the one who has occupied my mind for the last two days and caused my fast world to slow down for the first time in my life.

He is standing in the apartment across from me opening up the door. I go to run back inside my apartment but a voice stops. "Hey."
I  stop in my tracks and slowly turn back around to him. " oh hey" I reply trying to be calm.
He looks at me with a confused look for a second.
"Not to be weird, but I think I have seen you before. You look familiar" he states grabbing a box off of the hallway floor. "Yeah, I think I saw in the gas station down the road" I say trying not to sound creepy.
Luckily he doesn't take it that way and instead says "I knew I had seen you before!" He smiles at me and then walks inside the place.

"So uh where's Marina are you here helping her?" I ask walking closer to the apartment door.

"You didn't hear did you? She moved to Canada about a week ago" he shouts from inside.

"Oh my god I have been so busy I didn't even noticed she moved out" I exclaim feeling guilty.
I hear laughter echo from the empty apartment and soon after the door opens fully again.
"I'm Taylor" he says walking over the boxes and greeting me.
"Great to meet you, I'm Flynn" I reply before picking up a box.

"Oh you don't need to help I can do it" he says trying to grab it from me.
"Now what kind of person would I be if I left you out here with out helping" I added blocking him from grabbing it. He laughs a little before letting me bring it inside.
"Thanks you really didn't need too" He says setting down the box he had grabbed I then set down mine. "It's no big deal really" I assure him. It really wasn't I had nothing else to do.
He gives me a slight smile and then we let silence fill the air as we move in the boxes one by one.

"Looks like that was the last one" I announce setting it down and going to walk out.
"I guess so, Thanks for the help. I guess I will be seeing you around" he remarked walking out with me.
"Yeah I guess so I say opening my door and heading inside. As soon as I'm sure it's closed I sigh and drop down onto floor resting my head on the door.
How the fuck did this just happen. I thought I was never going to see him again and now we're neighbors.
This has got to be a dream...
