I wake up to a bright light hitting my face. I cover my eyes and groan as it's annoying. "Oh good morning" I hear the familiar voice say from behind me. I roll onto my stomach and look up. There he was already dressed and ready. "Morning" I reply sluggishly. He lets out a small laugh and then continues to do whatever he was doing before. I plant my face into the pillow that had been laid out on the couch for me. I smile at the smell that fills my nose, Fresh laundry and vanilla.
"Do you want breakfast?" He asks looking back over to me.
"Nah not hungry yet" I answer as I sit up stretching. I rub the sleep out of my eyes before completely standing up and walking over to him.
"So whatcha plan on doing today?" He questions taking a sip of his tea. "Hmm I don't know maybe head to a music store. I have been saving up to but myself a guitar for a while now" I shrug. "Oh that's cool have you ever played one or?" He queries.
"Nah but in middle school and high school I played saxophone and percussion" I say fiddling with my rings on my fingers. "Wow that's cool, I have never played an instrument but I always wanted to" he explains.
"Yeah the only thing that sucked was I had to work my ass off just to be able to be in band and afford my instrument" I remark. "I had a job at 14 mowing lawns and babysitting. Then when I turned fifteen I started at Polly's as a dishwasher and busboy. If I wasn't at school I was working. It was rough for a while, being kicked out and couch surfing forever didn't help" I continue. "I'm sorry I cant even imagine how stressful that was" he empathizes. "Yeah it was insanely stressful but I'm pretty proud of myself for being able to do all that" I say. He smiles and pulls me into a hug. "I'm proud of you too" he whispers into my ear. "Thanks" I mumble into his shoulder. We then pull apart and I head for the door."I'm going to get ready and if you want we can go to the music store together" I say as I walk out. "Okay just knock on my door when your ready to leave" he shouts as I close the door. I go into my place and head for the shower.
I felt gross and needed one anyways. I put out my towel before turning on the water, undressing and getting in.
The water is refreshing so I just stand in it for a couple minutes before remembering that I had someone waiting for me. I quickly shampoo and conditioner my hair, then wash my body. I now turn off the water and wrap my towel around me as I step out. That shower felt amazing. I go to my room picking out a simple outfit of a red sports sweatshirt and black ripped jeans with fishnets underneath.
After that I put on some perfume along with deodorant and mascara while my hair air dries a little.I'm too impatient to wait for it to fully dry so right before I leave I brush it along with my teeth as I forgot to earlier. I grab my stash of money for the instrument and place it in my purse before going to knock on his door.
I lightly hit it and about 30 seconds later he emerges from inside. "Lets go" I tell him. He laughs and shuffles his way out his door and after me. We use the elevator and hop into my car heading west towards the store.

When we reach the music store my face slides into a permanent smile. "Ready?" I ask Taylor as he moves his crutches towards the entrance. "Yep" he says popping the p and opening the glass door. We step inside and slowly walking around the store analyzing all of the guitars and other instruments that were on display. A glittery pink and sliver one catches my eye. I point it out to the blonde boy that I was with and he nods. "If you were a guitar that would be it" he comments giving me a look. I giggle and then pick it up. I toss the strap over my shoulder and strum it quietly as possible. It was perfect and it definitely was the one I wanted but first I needed to make sure I could afford it. I reach for the small price tag on the bottom of the strap and my eyes grow wide. Only 1,200 dollars that wasn't even close to what I was imagining. I was thinking more 1,600 or more. I smile big and take the heavy thing off my shoulder. I bring it up to the counter and begin counting out the cash. "Here you go" I say handing over the money. "Thank you and here you go" the guy grins giving me a look. I quickly grab the case that it was now placed inside of and meet Taylor at the car.
"So you now have a guitar" He comments setting his crutches beside him.
"Yeah, I'm really excited" I exclaim. I then pull out of the parking lot and towards a Dairy Queen that I had saw earlier.
As we swing into the drive thru I turn to my friend. "What do you want?" I ask "uh I'll give you money for a Oreo blizzard" he answer giving me five bucks. I don't fight him over it because I know I'm not going to win.
We wait in line for a while but eventually it's our turn to order. They say what the usually say and ask us what we want. "Uh a small Oreo blizzard, a small cookie dough blizzard and a thing of fries" I hesitate not really sure if I said what I meant to. "Okay that will be $10.50" the worker announces.
At the window I pay and immediately am handed our food. "Thank you" I say before rolling up my window and driving into an empty parking lot down the street. We each eat our ice cream and share the fries. A word doesn't leave our mouths that is until I notice that small little drops of rain are hitting the windshield. "Hmm I didn't know it was going to rain" I mumble kinda just to myself. "Me either" he shrugs.Once we are done we head back to our apartments.
"Here we are" I say as we reach the doors to each of our places. "Yep, well I'll see you later or soon" he remarks flashing me a smile. "Alright" I say as I watch him open his door "Wait!" I exclaim suddenly. He spins around and I walk up to him giving him a small kiss on the cheek. He giggles and does the same to me before putting a hand on his door and walking in leaving me in the hallway alone smiling like an idiot...An: so I have been thinking about either making a second part to the legend of celestia or rewriting it and republishing it. I just can decide which one. Also my new story's first couple chapters will be uploaded soon as this book is going to be over within 7 or less chapters :)
