I woke up in a bed with a blonde boy hovering over me, along with a creepy looking emo kid wearing black.

"Where am I?" I asked, and hurriedly sat up, only to fall back down with a groan. "Wrong question. What happened?"

The blonde boy gave me an encouraging smile. "Somehow, you were starting to die, but luckily, we got there in time. Percy, Annabeth, and Nico," At the name Nico, the guy pointed towards the emo kid. "got you back here to me. By the way, I'm Will."

"I'm Andoneka. But I go by Neka," I replied uncertainly. "And can you please tell me what's going on with the Greek monsters are coming alive stuff?"

Will laughed, and I couldn't help but smile back. "Do you know a bit about Greek and Roman mythology?" When I nodded my head, (which hurt a little), Will went on. "Well, they actually exist. The gods live on the 600th floor in the Empire State Building.

"The gods and goddesses, they've always liked mortals. After they fall in love, the mortals either have a child, or they are given one. The kids were always different. Some had ADHD, some had dyslexia, some had none, but most had both.

"Those demigods come here to learn how to fight monsters and other bad guys. I'm a child of Apollo, god of sun, by the way.

"Nico is a son of Hades, god of the underworld. Also, once monsters die, they go to Tartarus where they reform and come back."

This was just the beginning of a 30 minute long lecture about the gods and goddesses, Titans, Percy and Annabeth, and the wars the demigods had been through. It was actually really informative, and I learned a lot more than my other classes in school.

After Will finished talking, I was feeling a lot better, so Will and Nico gave me a tour of Camp Half-Blood. They told me that once we were done, I would go to Chiron, a centaur, and stay in the Big Cabin until I would get claimed by my mother or father.

I had a guess about who my godly parent was, but I decided not to tell anyone else, just in case I was wrong.

After a couple of minutes of them showing me around, we landed at this old shed, which supposedly is a weapon shed.

"What type of weapon do you want?" Will asked me. "We have swords, daggers, a bow and arrow, and some other things too."

"I have no idea," I told him honestly. "What do you think I should use, since you know more about fighting than I do?"

"Nico knows more about swords, so you should ask him," Will told me, and Nico sighed. He opened the door to the shed and dug around for a little bit, until he finally found what he wanted.

He pulled out a sword and offered it to me. I took it tenderly, and tried to make sure I wouldn't stab myself. "Do you like it?" Will asked, and I shook my head.

"Not really. Maybe as a last resort?" I ended the last phrase in a question, and Nico and Will shook their heads.

"You need to pick a weapon that you like a lot. You can't just use a weapon as a last resort." Nico said last resort in a disgusted way. "My Stygian Iron sword is amazing, and I wouldn't ever want a weapon that I don't like."

"Maybe a dagger," Will suggested, and also dug around for one. "Here's one." He held one out for me, and I exchanged it for the sword.

After testing it out a little bit, I sighed. "It doesn't feel right."

"What about this one," Nico said, and handed me an odd looking sword. It looked normal, but on the upper part there was a little swirly thing that reminded me of a wave. I took it, and swung it around a little bit.

"I like it," I told Nico and Will. "What is it?"

"Well, you know Perseus, son of Zeus?" Will asked, and I nodded my head. "He used this sword to decapitate Medusa, a Gorgon. It was given to him by Zeus, and after Perseus was killed by Megapenthes, Perseus was made immortal and put among the stars. We were then given this sword which is called Harpe."

I nodded my head and yawned. "That's weird. I'm using a sword that some dead guy used to chop off a snake lady's head. Perfectly normal."

"Percy is Annabeth's uncle," Nico told me. "So it's not as weird as that."

My eyes widened. "I agree."

"We should go to get dinner at the Dinner Pavilion," Will said, and my stomach rumbled.

"I guess that's a yes," Nico said, and he and Will started looking at each other longingly, and I got the message.

"I think I can find it on my own. You two have fun," I said, and jogged off, smiling a little bit.

When Will and NIco showed me the Pavilion, I had stopped for a solid minute to just look at it.

There were Greek columns on the hill that overlooked the sea. There were no walls or a roof that cover the hall, which I was confused about at first. What if it rained? But Nico and WIll explained to me that ehre, we were kind of in a bubble that blocks out monsters and rain and other things.

The torches blazed from the columns, and there was a central fire burning in a bronze brazier the size of a bathtub. Each table, which was according to your godly parent, had a wihte cloth with a purple trim.

Last time, it was deserted, but this time there were a lot of demigods sitting and laughing with their friends. Percy was sitting with Annabeth, even though that wasn't allowed, and when they saw me, they waved me over.

"Are you new?" Annabeth asked me when she saw me.

"How did you know?" I asked, smiling.

"You looked lost," Annabeth said bluntly.

"Thanks," I said.

"You should sit with the Hermes cabin," Percy told me, and pointed towards a table with a lot of kids. I walked over, and when they saw me, they cleared space and didn't pause what they were saying.

"What if we played 'Pin the tail on a horse game' with Chiron?" suggested a girl with freckles and red hair.

"Don't you dare," Another boy said, and he grabbed a goblet and started drinking milk or something. A few moments later, some Dry Mads (or something similar to that) walked over and started serving BBQ, grapes, apples, strawberries, cheese and bread.

"Who are you?" The boy that said no to playing 'Pin the Tail on a Horse' with Chiron asked me.

"Neka. I just got here, so I haven't been claimed yet," I told him, and he nodded his head.

"I haven't been claimed yet either. I'm Marcus." He held out his hand formally, so I took it.

"Hey, Neka," the red-headed girl who wanted to play 'Pin the Tail on a Horse' with Chiron smiled at me. "Do you want to play 'Pin the Tail on a Horse' with Chiron as the horse? You're the deciding vote."

"Do it," I said without hesitation. "But he has to have armor on, that way you don't kill him."

We spent the rest of the dinner talking and laughing, and after it was over, I walked back over to the Big House, where I slept.
