Traffic, Life Support & Tears

Lexi's POV

'I fucking hate traffic' I said

'The one day where I NEED to get somewhere fast, we are stuck in traffic for one damn hour' I added

'I am sure it will be moving shortly' Liam said

'You know what? Fuck this. You stay here with the car, meet me at the hospital' I said as I grabbed my phone, un did my seat belt, opened the door and left. I moved my way thru the cars, them honking the horn at me

'FUCK YOU. YOU ARE STUCK IN TRAFFIC ANYWAYS' I said as I kept walking. Once I got to the side walk I started running to the hospital. It was just the next street over, it shouldn't take that long.

The run to the hospital wasn't to long. A 10 minute walk turned into a 3 minute sprint. When I saw the hospital I made a sharp turn and ran to the doors. I pushed them opened and ran to the hospital room that Kiah was in.

'Where were you?!?! I called you a hour ago!' Louis exclaimed when I got into the room

'I will just go' Ashley said as she left the room

'I was stuck in traffic' I said

'Where is Liam?' he asked

'Still in traffic. I got out and left' I said

'Oh' he said

'Now tell me why I am here' I said

'Kiah, she uhm.....' he dragged. I looked at Zayn and he looked 10 times worse then before

'What is it' I demanded

'Something gave out, she is on life support' he said

'WHAT?!?!' I exclaimed

'And it gets worse' he said sadly

'How worse?' I asked thru gritted teeth

'They are giving her up to 20 days. If she doesn't wake up by then.......' he didnt finish. No words could come out of my mouth. What the actual fuck? Life support?! 20 days?! Great! See my sarcasm?

'Zayn how are YOU doing?' I asked as I sat beside him

'Oh peachy keen! My wife in on her death bed, she has 20 days to wake up, our child died, life couldn't be better' he said sarcastically. I hugged him from the side, and he turned around so we could hug normally

'But she will be ok' I said

'I hope so' he said

'I will go explain to the others' Louis said as he walked out

'What about her parents?' Zayn said

'What about them?' I asked

'Wouldn't they want to know?' he asked

'Zayn they haven't made contact with her in over 4 years. I dont even have their number' I said

'Too bad, they should know what is going on' he said

'They should, but they made the decision to not be in her life' I said

'Some people' he mumbled. I chuckled and took a seat beside him

'Oh, here are the markers' I said. I handed him the package and he took out dark blue. He walked to her cast and signed something. I didnt bother to read it, I will read it later.

Right now, if you asked me what was running thru my mind, I wouldn't be able to answer you. I have a lot going thru my mind right now. Like, what happens if she doesn't wake up? How the hell am I suppose to live without my best friend? She is suppose to be there when I get married, when I have kids, she is just suppose to be there! We didn't even tell anyone about the date for the wedding. It would be November 16th. Me and Liam are leaving November 1st, and on the 14th everyone will come up to Hawaii, then we get married the 16th. It is still over a month away, we are only October 11th. I felt my eyes start to tear up as I thought about Kiah, laying on her possible death bed.

'I will be back' I said softly. I walked out of the room, leaned against the wall and slid to the floor and just cried.

TINY UPDATE

BUT at least now you know what is going on with Kiah and what is running thru Lexi and Zayns mind. (More Lexi, because I didnt do a POV of Zayn)
