Shock.

Kiah's POV

I was shocked. My mom? Why would Zayn take me to see my mom?

''Mom?'' I said. She looked at me.

''Kiah'' she said softly. She stepped out to hug me but I took a step back.

''Be nice'' Zayn said.

''No. You weren't in my life these past few years why start now?'' I said before I turned around and walked down the drive way. I heard quick foot steps chase after me and I heard my name come out of Zayns mouth a few times. Finally, he caught up to me and placed his hand on my shoulder, causing me to turn around

''What?!'' I snapped.

''Kiah please talk to your parents'' he said. I narrowed my eyes

''No'' I said

''Please? She is your mother!'' he said

''And a poor excuse of one!'' I retorted.

''She wants a second chance!'' he argued

''Well she is not getting one'' I stated.

''Please? For me?'' he asked.

''A hour. 2 at the most'' I said. He smiled.

''That's all I ask'' he said. I gave him a half smile as we walked back. We walked into the house and sat on the couch across from the two people who claim to be my parents.

''So..'' I said

''How have you been?'' my father asked.

''Fine'' I said  simply. Zayn nudged me with his knee.

''Anything new?'' my mother asked.

''Well new to me is what happened last week. New to you is what happened these past few weeks'' I said.

''Look Kiah we are truly sorry that we neglected you'' my mom said.

''Neglect? More like abandon. You said you were on a BUISSNESS TRIP! Next thing I know you are living in some home looking more then happy'' I said

''We want to make it better'' my dad said

''I was going to have a baby. Ya, but I got hit by a car from a pshyco and lost the baby. I am married. Have been for a while. Lexi got stabbed. Remember her? You guys used to adore her. Ya well she lost her memory and only recently got it back. She's married. Me and Zayn drove for god knows how many hours to get here. I want to go to school. Get a degree in something. That new anough for you?'' I said with a smirk.

''You got hit by a car?! When?'' my mom asked.

''A while back. OH! I forgot to mention! Me and Lex got kidnapped by some stupid phsycos. The same one who stabbed Lexi and hit me with a car. Ya, we almost died'' I said

''I want to make things better. We both do'' my mom said.

''You have two hours. Cause after that we are leaving'' I said.

*2 hours later*

''Thank you Zayn, for bringing her here'' my mom said as we got ready to leave.

''You're welcome, Martha. Have a great evening'' he said politely.

''You're a good man, Zayn. Keep my babygirl safe'' my dad said

''I would do anything for her, Charles'' he said. My dad shook his hand. These past two hours I forgave my parents,  and caught up on all the missed years.

''Bye daddy'' i said as I hugged my dad.

''Bye princess'' he said

''Bye mum'' I said as I hugged her

''Goodbye, Kiah. Be sure to call anytime'' she said. We finished our goodbyes and started driving home.
