Busy in New York

Lexi's POV

My company is running smoothly. It is a 6 month old company, I have spent 4 months (in counting) in New York, and it is a multi million dollar company. Right now, I am in our Unlimited store that has been situated here in NYC. Liam is  at the hotel. I walked quickly down the halls of my busy buisness, holding my sketches. As soon as I walked into the main part (witch I have to go thru to get to my office) my assistant, Haley, caught up to my, looking busy as always.

''Here is your double chai latte with extra foam'' she said, handing it to me.

''Is there foam? Last time there was no foam, I like foam'' I said as we walked quickly down the halls.

''Yes there is foam. Karen said she wants a shipment out in Alabama'' she said. I got to my office and put my things on my desk.

''We already agreed that Alabama's shipment will be going out in 2 weeks'' I said. Haley wrote on some paper

''She won't like that'' she said.

''Well she works for me'' I said. Karen was on of my first workers hired here in New York. She can be a bit controlling and acts like she runs the company, but she works for me and she does as said.

''Alright. Now we have the cover of the magazin as a  rough draft out in room 3'' she said

''Follow me I am going to need you'' I said as we walked. We walked into room three (my chai latte in hand) and I said the board with the cover of the magazin

''That girl does not go on the cover of my magazin without gaining at least 20 pounds. This placeis called Unlimited. We do not need tiny models. She looks sick, fix it'' I said

''We are just brain storming'' my magazin worker, Paul said.

''Well I do not want a tiny model'' I said, walking out.

''Anything else I need to know?'' I asked as we walked back into my office and I looked through my droars for something.

''Yes. Your 11 o'clock meeting had to be changed to a 12. So I book your 9 for a 10, your 11 to a lunch and your lunch to a 11'' she said. I thought that thru.

''Ok I get what you mean'' I said. She smiled, then my phone rang.

''I will page you if I need you. Please go make sure all shipments are ready to be sent out'' I said. She nodded and left. I picked up my phone

''Hey, beautiful'' I heard Liam say on the other end

''Hi baby'' I said as I sat on my spinny chair.

''So I have some news'' he said, not to  happy.

''What is it?'' I asked

''I have to go on tour. We leave in a week so I have to leave tonight'' he said.

''Oh'' I said, lost for words

''Maybe you could come?'' he asked, hopeful. ''Babe you have been on tour before, why do you want me to come now?'' I asked with a chuckle

''I just don't want to leave you here alone'' he said ''I will be fine'' I said.

''Well what if you just come on tour with us? You can run the company from there?'' he asked. I sighed

''Fine. Talk to Simon about it'' I said.

''Yes! Ok I will call him! Lovw you baby!'' he said

''I love you too'' I said with a smile, even though he couldn't see it.

The meetings went great. We are going to have some stores in Canada, and even the rest of the States. I am so excited! I was walking to my office when my phone rang. It was Liam.

''Hey you'' I said with a smile.

''Hey gorgeous. So I have some great news'' he said

''What is it?'' I asked.

''Well Simon said we need a manager on this tour. I didn't ask why. But he said you would be perfect for the job!'' he said. I smiled

''Thats great babe! I will see you in a bit, I just gotta get my stuff together'' I said. We said our goodbyes and I got my stuff together. I walked out of my office and seen Haley.

''Haley?'' I asked. She turned around

''I have some great news!'' I said.

''What is it?'' she asked

''Well my husband has to go on tour, and I am going with him. So I am leaving you in charge here in New York!'' I said.

''Really?!'' she asked, excitidly. I nodded.

''EEEEEP!'' she squealed. I have always liked Haley

''You know the company better then anyone else here. All the things you need to know is in my office. Have fun! I will call you every so often to check up on things'' I said. We talked for a bit then I had to leave. I took a taxi back to the hotel, as me and Liam got packing.

Once we finished packing, my phone rang.

''Hello?'' I asked.

''Lexi?'' I heard my best friend say. And she did not sound to happy.

''Kiah what's wrong?'' I asked

''Me and Zayn got into a huge fight'' she said.

''Awe, Kiah it will be ok'' I said. I heard her sniffle

''No, it won't. I told him I wanted a divorce'' she said.

''What?!? Why?!'' I exclaimed

''We grew apart'' she said. ''Well where are you going?'' I asked.

''To Harry's'' she said.

''Oh ok. I m flying home tonight'' I said.

''That's great Lex! Uhm, I have to tell you something'' she said

''Ya what is it?'' I asked.

''I kissed Harry'' she said

''What?!'' I said loudly.

''Well he kissed me first. Then apologized. Then I told him not to. Then I kissed him'' she said. I sighed

''Do you like him?'' I asked

''I don't know!'' she exclaimed.

''Well we can talk when I get home. I will see you soon'' I said

''Ok. Thanks Lex'' she said before hanging up. I guess I must have looked shocked, cause Liam gave me a confused look.

''What's wrong?'' he asked.

''Kiah and Zayn are getting a divorce'' I whispered.

''What? Why?!'' he said. We have been saying that a lot lately...

''They grew apart'' I said. He was just as shocked as I was. I guess this won't get a great home welcoming...
