Only Time Will Tell (Tom Riddle)

Part 29 ~ Back to reality

I was sitting between all the wedding gifts people sended us. I swear families all over the wizarding world sended gifts because nearly all of our ballroom were covered. I sat up realising something. My eyes grew as I ran to our room. I grabbed what I wanted and ran to the fireplace in our living room. I placed the egg Tom got me a few months ago in the fireplace. I made my way back to the ballroom. "TOM!" I yelled. I forgot he had meetings today. School is nearly starting again and he is trying to get in as many meetings as possible. I went to our room and layd down.

The room was so big it made our king size bed look small. I drifted off too sleep.

I woke up and saw Tom kissing me. "It's dinner time my love." He said and helped me up. I putted on my shoes and made way to our dining hall.

Tom went to sit at the head of the table and I sat on his right side. The elves brought in our dishes and placed it infront of us. I thanked them and they were off. "Tomorrow I am going to St Mungos for a check up. Are you joining me?" I asked Tom. He looked up from his dinner. "I wouldn't miss it." He said kissing my hand. We ate in comfartable silence. He then started talking about his meetings and how it is shadowing our current minister. " I must say, there are a lot of things I would change when I am minister. Do you know there is some organisations that house families of muggleborns in the wizarding world?" I sat up as he said that. "Could that not lead to our kind being discovered. It is bad enough the muggle queen knows about us. The muggleborns must make a choice between their families and magic." I said. "My point exactly. When my time comes I will have them obliviated. I know this will cause roits but having muggles live here causes higher chances of pure blood being dirtied." I nodded.

We made our way to our room. I sat infront of my mirror table combing my hair. Tom comes up from behind me and takes the brush and combs my hair. I love this man. "I love you too my beautiful wife." I forgot he can read my thoughts if I dont put up a wall. I stood up and looked in the mirror. I could see a little baby bump forming. Tears streamed down my face.

"Darling what's wrong?" Tom asked kissing my cheek. "We are going to be parents." I cry, not of sadness but of happyness. Darn hormones. "Yes my love, we are going to be better parents then ours were." I nodded. He helped me into my satin sleepwear and we got into bed. He pulled me towards his chest and I snuggled into him.

The next morning came quickly. Tom was up and cheary. He brought my coffee to me. One thing that made me fall more inlove with him is that he doesnt want the elves to bring my morning coffee, he stands up and go make it himself. He puts the coffee next to me and I sit up. He sits behind me and pulls me towards him. I drink my coffee.

We both get dressed to go to the hospital. Tom wanted to have a docter come here but I need to get out. I throw on my cloak over my shoulder.

Tom helped me put on my ankle length boots. I combed my hair out and let my silver wavy hair fall loose.

We made our way outside to the carriage. Since I am pregnant we can't use floo or apparate. We land near Hogsmeade and make our way to the hospital. People step out of our way. We get to the hospital doors and walk right threw to the healer's office. Tom insisted on a female healer. "Welcome Mr. And Mrs Riddle. Let's see how your babies are doing today." I layd down as she threw a blanket over my legs and lifted up my dress all the way to my breast. Tom stood next to me. In the wizarding world we know the gender or our babies much sooner then muggles do. Their equiptment only pick it up after a few months. I layd there as she pressed her wand to my stomach. The room filled with 2 heartbeats and I felt tears streaming down my eyes. I look over at Tom and saw him trying to keep it together. "They are both very healthy. Would you like to know the genders?" She asked. I looked over at Tom and he nodded. "Yes we would very much like to know." I said. "Congratulations Mr. And Mrs. Riddle, you have 1 boy and 1 girl." She said smiling I jumped up hugging Tom and I felt his tears dripping on my shoulder. I pulled my dress down. We will announce the gender at hogwarst to our friends.

I pulled my dress down and we thanked her. Making our way outside we decided to get everything we need for Hogwarts. Our plan was to use floo to the manor every night bit since I am pregnant we have to stay in oir dorm. Which upsetted me greatly. I walked around and my eye spotted a baby shop. I got exited but did not show it since we are in public. In public people like us must radiate power, royalty, and class. I looked over to Tom who had his emotionless look. "Can we?" I asked and he nodded. I knew he was sceretly more exited then me.

We entred the shop and the owner greeted us. We nodded and looked around. I got exited seeing everything. I can't wait to decorate the nursery. We ordered a few- a lot of things. Tom paid. "We will have our elves come pick it up today." He said. The owner thanked us and we walked out. We shopped around bit more. After a while we decided to make our way back to the carriage. The ride home was me freaking out about everything, all my emotions I kept locked away was out there. "And that little boots were so cute!!" I went on. Tom just chuckled.
