Chapter three

Karl had left to go see Mother Miranda and picked up some Cadou which he had to sit there and talk Y/n into excepting it. He returned to an empty house... it was cold and dark with no lights and he sighed softly knowing she had to have gone to the factory. He knew she wasn't exactly happy about it arrangement so he'd try and make it up to her before the days end. Placing the parasite down on a table he left and went to the factory where he found Y/n with tools in her hands. She had her head against the table and in front of her was a finished metal rose. He gently wrapped his arms lightly around her waist and she lifted her head.

"You're back sooner than I expected..." she trailed off quietly and he frowned a little at her response. "Hey... we're not doing anything with that Cadou until tomorrow and I promise you I'll make sure everything turns out okay...you're not going to die" he spoke softly and she turned to him. "How can you be so sure!" She fussed and he sighed quietly. "Because I love you. I've come to love you in this sort amount of time look at what you've done to me..." he whispered and she sighed softly. She gently picked up the flower and handed it to him. "I made this for you... when I wake up after this or if I don't wake up at all you have to promise you'll unroll the stem..." she spoke softly and he nodded. "Of course..." Karl spoke quietly before leaning in. She didn't pull away from him and she closed her eyes. Thinking he was going to kiss her she leaned in slightly but he only pressed his lips shakily to her forehead. "We'll be okay Y/n I promise" he stated simply.

"I want to do it now... the experiment let's do it now." She stated softly and he sighed. "Stay here" he stated before going get the Cadou from the house. When he returned she had undressed to her undergarments. He looked surprised but cleared his throat slightly. "I just didn't want my dress to get messed up" she spoke quietly hanging it up and he wrapped one of his jackets around her so she wouldn't get cold. She gently held his free hand and walked towards the room they did all their experiments in. It was the best lit and had all sorts of medical supplies.

"Are you sure you don't want to wait?" He asked softly and she smiled at him. She sat on the table before grabbing his shirt kissing him deeply. Saying it was their first kiss she held his cheek gently before pulling away from him. "I'm ready now..." she spoke softly and he laid her down on the clean table and gently placed a mask over her face and she breathed in carefully. Soon enough everything started going black until she couldn't feel anything. She didn't know how long it had been but she felt trapped like she was awake but couldn't see anything. Karl had finished implanting the parasite and hooked Y/n up to a heart monitor. Over a couple of days he was in and out of the room Making sure it was still beeping as if it wasn't he knew he'd lose a piece of himself with the girl on the table. Quietly he waited for days to come before getting another call from mother Miranda. "And how's your experiment going Heisenberg..." she spoke Cooley and Karl seemed nervous. "She still hasn't woken up... it's been a week and a half mother Miranda... what can I do?" He asked simply and she sighed from the other side of the phone. "Did you ever think that she just could not wake up... because that's what seems to be the case at the point..." she spoke and Karl felt tears build in his eyes. "Don't say such things. If her heart stops I'll do everything I can to get it going again and then again and again until I know she's gone" he spoke simply and she sighed hanging up the phone. There was a loud and long beeping from the other room and Karl rushed into the room. The monitor was reading no heartbeat. He turned the machine off and began doing CPR on the woman. After what seemed like hours of giving her rescue breaths and compressions did he finally stop and laid there next to the girl. He cried for her... he cried for the pain inside him because of losing her. "Damn it!" He yelled before trying to shake her awake. There was howls outside from the wolves and he sighed quietly. "Even they know you're gone... they need you almost as much as I do" he whispered and gently cupped her face.

The girl was cool to the touch but began coughing unseeing the weight of the other. "Karl..." she muttered and gently nudged him. He woke up and looked at the woman with complete shock. "You were dead... you didn't have a pulse you were cold you were dead..." he spoke before pulling her into a tight embrace. She gently wrapped her arms around the male's neck holding onto him tightly. "I knew you'd make it through I just knew it... we can see what type of Abilities the Cadou gave you..." he spoke softly and she laughed softly. "Maybe later..." she muttered and he nodded. She shivered and wrapped the jacket he had given her around herself before he noticed she was cold. He gently helped her up before keeping her steady. She was weak when standing holding onto him slightly. He smiled reassuringly before walking the girl back to the house. The lycans were outside the gate of the factory watching as the woman walked out of there alive....save... and well. Loud howling like cheers erupted and that's all you could here for miles.

"They were just as scared as I was..." Karl spoke softly before getting her in some warm clothes. "Did you open the flower I gave you" she asked softly and he shook his head before gently grabbing it off of the nightstand. He took the edge before unrolling the stem. Carved into the metal was the worlds "I love you forever and always". He looked at the woman after reading the print and she gave a warm smile. "I love you too" she spoke as remembering what the male hD told her before all of this. He put the flower down and walked to the girl. He picked her up and spun her around kissing her lips gently. She held onto him lightly and gently hid her face in the male's shoulder smiling happily.

"I swear to god if you ever take almost a two week nap you better freaking tell me before hand... you scared the crap out of me" he stated quietly and kissed her lips. "You're smoking now?" She asked softly and he sighed with a nod. "You scared me I picked it back up again... I'll cut back if it bothers you" he expressed softly before leaning his head against the girl's. "No it's Alright... I suppose you're right I did stress you out and all" she stated softly and he put her down. "Let's just get married... run away and have a family" He spoke softly and Y/n leaned against him happily.

"Maybe one day Karl... but I promise we will get married one day soon"
