Chapter 4

"Let's make a deal. When we figure out how to bring someone back to life we'll get married" y/n stated softly and Karl laughed. "You make that the deal knowing we're almost there" Karl spoke and the girl laughed softly before gently gripping his hand.

"I made that the deal because you're capable of doing that much." She stated softly and gently cupped his face. "You do realize I'm not your girlfriend you never asked me out" she teased him and he couldn't help but let out a hearty chuckle. "The day the experiment started I told you I love you... and you kissed me I think that be relationship enough..." he muttered and she laughed softly. She gently held him close her hands lightly cupping his cheek. "I do love you Karl Heisenberg... with all my heart but now I'm safe I still need to find what I came here for." She spoke softly and he sighed softly. "I'll take you to the archives..." he stated softly and she nodded her head. "If you think that'll give me answers I'd be happy to go." She added quietly.

He smiled softly and looked at the amount of daylight left and grabbed a lantern just for safe measures. He grabbed one of his extra coats and wrapped it around her shoulders and kissed her forehead. "Thank you" she spoke warmly and he gently grabbed her hand walking out of the home. Their factory was twice the size it started out to be and quite frankly Y/n didn't question it all she knew it was theirs. "I have all the notes on your transformation... from your rebirth I just didn't expect it to take so long and I have to update the journal..." he stated and the girl walked next to him lightly gripping his free hand. He didn't bring his metal hammer but he had the top of the flower she had made in his pocket. "May I read it to fully get an understanding of what happened.., I mean I will admit I feel normal" she spoke and looked at him before seeing some of the lycans running to them. Not at them but to them as they stopped and walked behind them. She smiled softly at the scenery the sun was setting and she leaned her head against his shoulder.

"Are you feeling alright?" He couldn't help but ask and she nodded before he gently kissed her knuckles. She walked inside what looked like a tomb but it led them down where many files were kept. "Mother Miranda keeps the files of some of the more... extraordinary people here" he explained and she walked towards the wall with limited files. She grabbed a few and opened them one by one. Finding one the woman looked just like her but much older. "Daughter born from project Eveline... highly favorable outcome... moved here from Louisiana" she read out loud before looking at the other. "You... we're born with the gift... that's why the Cadou didn't affect you farther than your stopped aging..." Karl spoke and she smiled softly looking back at the file. "I... was born here... it said my mother worked in Alcina's castle and was pregnant for a towns man. Her husband." She spoke softly and continued on reading. Her mother's status stated she was deceased but Y/n moved to the next file with her name on it. She took in a deep breath and opened the file before looking at the picture of herself as a baby. "Status deceased... Karl why does it say I'm dead?" She turned and he sighed softly "well my love... when my sister killed your mother I saved you. I knew your mother had a sister who had left many years before and your mother was a close friend. She was gifted but she wasn't immortal. She made me promise I'd get you out of here if anything happened to her" he explained and Her eyes followed his moments. "They thought you had died because I got you out of this town before you were the next Eva" he spoke and gently touched the females face looking at her.

"Why didn't you tell me?" She asked gently grabbing his hand looking at him. "Because it was dangerous. I never expected you to return here... I told your aunt to never tell you of this place. But I thought if you knew you'd want to go to Alcina's castle for yourself and I wouldn't have wanted to see you hurt." He explained and she sighed softly. "I knew you were special from the minute I held you... you had this toothless smile that would cause anyone to melt and these big innocent eyes" He spoke warmly but trailed off slightly. "Part of me didn't want you to return but the other wanted you too so I could see how you've grown and I could see if your eyes were still sparkling" he whispered before pressing a gentle kiss to her forehead. She smiled warmly gripping his hand looking at him with bright eyes "and they do" he laughed softly and she laughed with him.

"Let's go home..." she spoke warmly and he nodded before leading her back to the house but they were stopped by a tall woman in a long white dress. "Alcina." Karl stated coldly and she simply laughed at his reaction. "I see this is the girl who you've been hiding... she's beautiful. She reminds me of someone" Alcina stated before moving her brother side and bending down to look at the girl. There was a loud sound of growling coming from the lycans and she laughed at the girls reaction to her. Y/n wasn't happy to see the woman now knowing who she was... knowing Alcina killed her mother. "Get away from her Alcina I'm warning you" Karl spoke and the woman grew craws out of nowhere before running one across Y/n's cheek.

"Her blood smells sweet are you a virgin my love?" She asked turning to the girl for the question. The girl's face turned a pink color before grabbing her claw with her bare hand and snapping one of them. Alcina pulled away quickly in shock and or disgust. Karl grabbed Y/n's hand pulling her behind him and the vampire glared daggers at the two of them: "I'm sure mother Miranda wouldn't appreciate you hiding new parts of her family away from her" Alcina stated and Karl was clearly getting upset. "I'm not hiding anything you oversized cunt. We're getting married..." he stated simply and her face was clearly shocked. "Married... have you informed Mother Miranda of such things?" She asked seeming intrigued by the woman behind Karl.

"I wouldn't have taken you for that type of man. To Marry the baby you've stolen from my castle... marrying the child of your best friend after what twenty years?" She asked walking around looking at the girl. "She looks just like her mother doesn't she... maybe a little more pretty look at her figure. Her mother didn't hold herself up like this one does. She's fearless isn't she" Alcina asked and Y/n balled her hands up and the lycans circles them snarling at the woman in white.

"Most definitely fearless... she's not scared of a woman's who's ego is too big for her body" Karl stated before Y/n simply walked away from the  vampire and she looked at the other two for a moment. "At the moment I'm ready to go home now Alcina. I'd prefer it if you left us alone until said other wise I'm sure you'd love to attend a wedding because it seems you haven't gotten out in a while it's a different time now and I don't know if you've realized people don't like people with supersized egos who are full with mindless threats. I think the only reason people like you is because of well you can see for yourself if you look down" Y/n stated simply and the woman looked taken back. The woman simply smirked at the girl's audacity.

"You're one to talk little one. A girl with a mouth who will get her in trouble... that's all you are.. well with a couple dogs" Alcina stated and one of the werewolves snared at the woman Y/n laughed softly.

"I'm clearly more than that. Especially since Mother Miranda wanted me more than she did you" Y/n stated and Karl covered her mouth quickly. "Alcina I'm bringing her home. Just leave" Karl spoke and the woman in white stormed off before Y/n gentle took his arm. "You really know how to get me to love you more and more" he cooed softly and held her hand walking her home.
