“Asher!” I screamed running after him as his retreating figure continued.  Why won’t he stop? Can he hear me? “Asher I yelled again louder but got nothing. He kept getting farther and farther away from me.

“Nora?” someone asked as I felt hands grab me. “Nora! Wake up.”

I sat up gasping with tears running down my face. I blinked my vision blurring as I did and buried my head into Hunter’s chest. “Shh.. I got you now.” He soothed comfortingly as I sobbed. It was just a dream, I tried to calm myself, but it wasn’t working, if anything it made it worse. Worse because he was leaving today, along with Hunter and the rest of the band, and there was nothing I could do about it. He’s chasing his dreams, I can’t take that away from him now, even if I could stop stop him.

After what felt like forever but couldn’t have be more than half an hour, I fell back to sleep. It’s been two weeks since Asher broke up with me. It still hurt like hell and it didn’t help that every time I saw him he was with a different girl. I tried to not let it bother me but it did. If he came up to me and told me he wanted to get back together, I’d forgive him in a heartbeat and take him back. I loved him and I think I always will. So how in the world was I going to move on?

When I woke up the second time it was almost noon. Shit! Their plane leaves at two! They must have left already! Oh no.. I got out of bed and rushed around my room throwing on random clothes and brushing my hair with my fingers before I put it into a ponytail heading down the stairs.

“Where’s Hunter?” I asked my mom as she straighten the cushions.

Her face scrunched in confusion before she smiled, “He left for L.A. already.”

“Shit.” I mumbled, “Can you drive me to the Airport?”

She shook her head, “I can’t.” she sniffled sadly, “Sorry.”

I nodded and went into the kitchen, “Dad!” I shouted as he twisted the lid to his coffee mug.

“Hey bug sleep well?” He asked not looking up.

“I need you to drive me to the airport. Please.” I added for extra emphasis.

“Sure, my flight leaves to New York at two, too.” He laughed picking up his briefcase and his keys on the counter.

We got into the car and were pulling into the parking lot when I hopped out and ran inside, scared I was too late. That my nightmare was going to come true. I saw Hunter’s familiar brown hair as he waited for the others to arrive.

“Hunter!” I yelled and he looked up startled. I pushed through the crowd and hugged him. “you were going to leave without saying goodbye.”

“I’m sorry, didn’t you get my letter? I left it by your bed.” He laughed pushing me away.

I shoved his shoulder, “You were going to leave a letter? Hunter, you’re my older brother, I’ve lived with you everyday of my life. I deserve more than a letter.” I crossed my arms.

“I know, I felt guilty. But you’re here now.” He joked and I shrugged.

“Nora.” I heard an annoying voice behind me as Hunter glared.

“Chris.” I sighed turning around to look at him. He had a smirk on his face and I laughed when Levi jumped on his back, messing up his hair roughly.
