I sighed looking at my phone as it lit up again. It wasn't really my phone, as mine was 'drying' on my desk after the incident, it was one that was lying around the house and I switched everything over. Why won’t he leave me alone? Is he going to call me a whore again because I can’t handle that. I threw my phone on my bed and went down the stairs and out the front door. It was close to midnight, Harry went home hours ago, Danny was asleep and Hunter was entertaining in the bedroom. Gross to think that his bedroom was right next to mine, so I had to get out of there and because I needed some fresh air.

I turned the corner keeping my head down in the light of the moon. There were no cars, no people and no animals that I could see so I felt safe enough to walk around. I didn’t realize I was walking to his house till I was standing in front of it. Tears came to my eyes as I saw his light on in his room. The curtains were drawn but I could see his silhouette as he paced the room.

I walked around back and scald the side of the house till I was face to face with his glass door. My hand reached up instinctively as to knock but stopped when I heard yelling.

“What the hell Grace!” He shouted and I flinched in surprise this was the second time tonight I heard him yell. “You could have- God I shouldn’t have- Ugh...” He groaned.

“Don’t yell at me alright, this is why I had her cover for me. You’re angry over nothing.” Grace told him in a calm voice.

“Over nothing?!” He shouted, “Like hell you almost... and I...” He trailed off.

“Stop calling her, she’s not going to forgive you just like that. You called her a whore, leave her be.”

“I wasn’t thinking, I don’t know what to do?”

“Neither do I, she hates me too.” she said in a sad tone. I felt bad and my hand went up again. “Just don’t do anything else tonight, alright. She’ll come around eventually.”  I dropped my hand once again. Maybe I shouldn’t see him. Tears came down my face and I sat down on the stone balcony leaning my head back. I soon fell asleep only to be woken up by more yelling.

“No!” Asher yelled so loud my ears rang, blink repeatedly as my eyes adjusted to the light. “Where?” He waited for a reply, “I’ll be right there.” and with that I heard him muttering curse words rummaging through his room. I heard the front door slam and I stood up looking around confused, I must have fallen asleep last night. I climbed down the wall and knocked on the front door. The door flew open and Grace’s face held worry that was suddenly replaced by relief and joy.

“You’re alive!” She wrapped her arms around me, “I was so worried. God don’t scare me like that. Where were you? You sure as hell weren’t at home, Hunter called me this morning and I nearly died! He’s so worried about you, God are you okay?”

I nodded hugging her back as I sobbed into her, “I went for a walk last night and I must have fell asleep. I missed you.” She laughed.

“I missed you too, let’s never fight again. Deal?”

“Deal.” I smiled pulling away from her.

“Where did you fall asleep at?” She asked following me into her kitchen.

I shrugged grabbing a bowl and some cereal, “It doesn’t matter.”

“Of course it matters!” She scoffed taking my bowl away from me causing me to glare at her.

“Hey!” I screamed, “That’s not yours.” I grabbed the bowl from her hands laughing as she pouted, leaving her hands empty.

“Where did you sleep?” She whined making me sigh and roll my eyes.

“I slept in your backyard.” I shrugged like it was no big deal, leaving out the part of it being Asher’s balcony.

“Oh, well at least you're safe.” She smiled, “Oh I almost forgot.” She whipped out her phone and dialed a number.

“No!” I shouted ripping it from her hands, “Don’t call him, he’s probably with Ash and I can’t...” I shook my head tears welling up in my eyes.

“I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have asked you to cover for me. This is all my fault.” She sobbed.

“No it’s not.” I shook my head, “Asher saying those things had nothing to do with you.”

“But they did,” She cried, “He was looking out for me. Please don’t believe what he said, he feels horrible about saying that to you.”

I could see where it was coming from but that didn’t make it hurt any less. I nodded, “I get it I do but I don’t know what I should do.”

She smiled, “Give him hell for it. Make him beg.”

“Isn’t that kind of mean? I mean I already kind of forgave him.” I told her picking at  my cereal.

She shrugged a smirk on her face, “Of course but it’ll be fun.”
