“Come on, you didn’t even try that time.” Harry laughed elbowing me as he lapped me...again.

“I did too!” I shoved him back, “I just not good at this.” I pouted.

“She’s telling the truth, dude.” Danny commented from the floor.

“See.” I pointed at Danny, “He knows and I quit.” I told them sighing, leaning back into the couch.

“I want to beat you.” Danny shouted running over to me to take my controller.

“Alright, but I am pretty good.” Harry laughed winking at me. I rolled my eyes and watched as they raced around the track.

“YES!” Danny screamed throwing his arms up in delight as it flashed ‘you win’ on the screen. “I Won.” He laughed in Harry’s face.

Harry shook his head in disappointment but he still had a smile on his face. “Yeah Bud you did.”

“No need to be a poor sport.” I teased as his eyes hardened. He really tried to win, this was too good.

“No one asked for your opinion Nora.” He glared.

“Yeah no one asked you.” Danny copied. “Wanna race again?”

Harry gave a nod and they started again. I sighed I was not going to be watching them for the rest of the time. I still heard the loud music coming from the basement so I knew everyone was still here. I went into the kitchen rummaging thru the cupboards looking for something to eat when I heard a bang upstairs. I’m pretty sure no one’s up there, or they shouldn’t be. I looked into the living room where Danny and Harry were playing as Eli and Beth slept on the couches. Then whose upstairs? I heard loud footsteps coming up the stairs as the music cut off. Guess they’re done. I shrugged and turned back around to go to the kitchen thinking I must have imagined it, when I heard it again.

Once I was on the stairs the basement door flew open and the people flooded the first floor. I made my way up the stairs cautiously, after all I didn’t know who it was. I approached my room nervously my hands shaking in fear when I heard a giggle from the other side of the door. Not in my room...

I barged into my room and screamed at what I saw. Grace was straddling Logan on MY bed! “What the hell are you doing on my bed!” I screamed at them. Grace blushed but pushed off Logan coming over to me quickly closing the door when footsteps pounded up the stairs.

“Shh.” She hissed pulling me into the room.

“Nora!?” Asher asked concerned from the other side of the locked door.  “Nora? Are you alright? Why is the door locked?”

“Please don’t tell him.” Grace pleaded with wide eyes.

I nodded once and called out, “I’m fine. I just need to uh...” I searched my room for something.

“Let me in.” He sighed.

“Here.” Grace handed me a shirt, “Change, we’ll hide in the closet.”

“No fun business.” I scolded. She rolled her eyes but nodded pulling Logan in with her. I sighed changing my shirt quickly and pulling opening the door, “hey sorry, I just needed to change, Danny thought it’d be funny to throw food on me.”

He raised his eyebrows in confusion, “Then why did you scream? And we haven’t even ate yet.”

“I was letting out my frustrations.” I shrugged walking over to my desk placing my shirt on it, “And I tried feeding Danny but he didn’t, uh, want it.” I strutted, I was so not a good liar. my eyes flickered over to the closet for a second before turning around to face him.

“Okay.” He nodded looking around my room, he didn’t believe me. Good for him, bad for me, Grace and Logan. He walked closer to me after inspecting my room coming up empty. “So did you enjoy band practice?”

I rolled my eyes but smiled, “I heard one song.”

He smirked and shrugged, “Well did you like that one?” I bit my lip staring at him, his dimples were showing making my heart melt. I notice how his eyes shined but slowly dimmed as I looked into them and that was when I noticed his smirk leaving his face. “So thats a no?” He joked looking away from me.

I shook my head, “I love it actually.” I blushed, “I like all of your songs.”

“You did?” He smirked, “You like all of them?”

“Don’t let it go to your head.” I flicked his forehead and he laughed.

“To late darlin’.” I shook my head blushing. “Besides I’m glad my hard work isn’t going to waste on you.”

“What are you talking about.” I laughed.

He shrugged, “I just like to know that you like them, that’s all.”

“Shh..” I heard Logan whispered and I stiffened.

“Do you have someone in your closet?” He asked looking between me and the closet.

“N-No.” I stuttered and he glared at me. He reached out to grab the handle of the door, “No I, uh, it’s not..”

“Nora.” He warned in a cold voice.

“Please don’t.” I pleaded.

“Is he in there? The guy you like?” He asked his eyes narrowing.

“God no.” I shook my head quickly earning another glare.

“Then let me see who’s in there.”

“But...” I started when the door to the closet opened behind me hitting me square in the back. “Ow, what the hell?”

  “Sorry.” Logan laughed.

“Logan?” Asher asked surprise in his voice before glaring at me, “This is him? Grace is going to be pissed.”

“Asher it’s not-,” I called out to him as he retreated out of my room never taking his glare off me.

“That’s really low, she’s my sister, your best friend. How could you do this?” He asked hurt in his voice.

“I didn’t-,” I shook my head tears in my eyes.

“Save it, you’re a whore.” He spat at me before slamming the door in my face.

“Nora? I’m so sorry-,” Grace apologized coming out of the closet.

“Leave.” I muttered trying to wipe the tears off my face.

“Nora, I was just scared. I’ll tell him-,” She continued.

“I said Leave!” I screamed turning on the both of them. “Now!”

“Nora, I’ll fix this.” She told me looking like she was going to cry, but I didn’t care.

“You’ve done enough. Just go.” I told them, Logan grabbed Grace’s hand and pulled her out the door. I locked the door and collapsed on the bed crying myself to sleep.
