When I got there Hunter was waiting outside looking furious next to Asher who was laughing with Annabelle while Grace looked amused.
Logan laughed looking at them. “Looks like someone’s in trouble.”
“Yeah, but thanks for the ride.” I told him and leaned over to kiss his cheek, sending him a wink.
“Nora!” Hunter shouted as I turned to him he was coming over with clenched fist.
“As soon as I get out of the car, drive away before he hurts you.” I told him quickly opening the door.
“I’ll see you later?” He asked.
“Yeah.” I nodded grinning at him hopping out of the car.
“Who the hell is that?” Hunter asked grabbing arm just as Logan drove away.
“No one. It’s no big deal.” I told him shrugging off his hand and running up to Grace.
“Oh my God. You’re my hero!” She screamed wrapping me in a hug, I had a feeling if she knew that the guy was Logan this would be a different conversation. Asher caught my eye as he looked at me all amusement gone from his face. “Give me details.”
“Like what?” I asked rolling my eyes.
“No. Don’t answer that, brother right here.” Hunter call attention to himself.
“So go away. I want everything.” Grace shot Hunter a look, grabbing my arm leading me into her house.
“Nothing happened.” I told her, “It was a joke, I didn’t do anything.” I told all of them as I pulled back on Grace’s hand and shrugged, “Besides I’m not like that.”
Grace pouted, “Jeez just tell me his name.”
“I don’t think..” I shook my head.
“Tell us so we can beat the crap out of him.” Hunter growled sitting down on the steps next to Asher as AnnaBelle went inside.
I looked at Grace and she gave me an encouraging nod. I sighed, here goes nothing, “Don’t get mad, we didn’t do anything.” I pleaded.
She looked confused at first and then realization crept on her face as her eye narrowed. “Promise?”
“Promise.” I nodded.
She looked annoyed but then grinned shooting a look at our brothers, “Was he a good kisser?” She winked.
I nodded playing along, “Beyond amazing.” I squealed excitedly.
“I forgive you.” She screamed running up to me hugging me.
“Thanks.” I whispered.
