School. The single most greatest thing to ever be invented. Okay, I lied but hey it’s close right? Joking the only good part is that I can hang with my friends and creepily stare at cute guys all day.

I sighed fixing my blond hair in the mirror. When I fixed it as best as I possibly could, which isn’t saying a lot, I grabbed my bag and left my room bounding down the stairs to the kitchen, where I could always find my brother.

“Hey!” I jumped at him and he glared at me while he lifted up his spoon and brought it to his mouth. “Okay then.” I muttered stepping away from him to get some juice.

“Let’s go, we haven’t got all day.” Dad called carrying my other brother outside.

“Aren’t you driving us?” I asked Hunter pouring my juice into my favorite princess glass. Don’t judge I’m 16 and I still adore princess, sue me.

He smirked and flicked his brown hair away from his eyes, “I got busted yesterday.”

“Busted? For what?” I asked shocked even though I shouldn’t be, he was always getting busted for the stupidest things.

“That’s not important.” he shrugged leaving out the front door.

I sighed annoyed drinking my juice and then I heard  a honk from outside. Shit I forgot! I dropped the glass on the counter, throwing my bag over my shoulder and ran outside just in time to see my dad driving off down the street with my brother waving and smiling like the annoying ass he is.

“Greeat.” I mumbled taking out my phone and dialing the familiar number.

“Hey, is everything alright?” Grace, my best friend asked on the other line.

“Just great.” I told her sarcastically, “Did you leave for school already?”

“No we’re just heading out now why?”

“Could you come pick me up?” I asked closing the front door my family just left open.

“I’ll ask Ash.” She told me and my heart rate picked up at the mention of his name, “Uh Nora?”

“Yeah?” I asked my heart dropping slightly, this can’t be good.

“I don’t think-” she began and then the phone was ripped out of her hand and my heart stopped as his beautiful voice came through the phone, “I’ll pick you up but you have to be ready when I get there. I don’t want to be late for school.” and he hung up before I could answer.

I sat down on the porch and waited for them. My phone started ringing, and I sighed as Hunter’s name flashed up on the screen.

  “What?” I growled at him.

“Where are you? You’re going to be late for school.” I could hear him smirking on the other end.

“Shut up.” I told him as the silver car belonging to Asher pulled up.

“Now now, don’t say something like that. You need me.”

“Need you?” I laughed humorlessly, “I highly doubt that.”

“Come on Nora, let me help you.” He told me as I climbed into the back seat were Grace was sitting. ‘who is it?’ she mouthed.

“Hunter.” I told her rolling my eyes.  “Help me how?” I asked confused.
