Justin: Trent are you ok? you haven't done anything have you?

Trent: not yet...

Justin: do you want me to come and talk to you?

Trent: don't waste your time

Justin: nothing is a waste if you're involved 💚

Justin: So i'll ask again, do you want me to come over and talk to you?

Trent: please

Justin: ok, wait there and don't do anything until i get there

Duncan pov

I sit on my couch waiting for DJ to arrive, i still can't believe i cried in front of someone, i guess i'm just lucky it was DJ of all people, the guys an angel in bear's clothing.

I'm pulled out of my thoughts by a ringing at the door of my apartment. I get up and trudge over to the door and open it to see DJ on the other side holding a box of ice cream in his hands, smiling at me.

"hey deej" i say letting him in, then sitting on the couch again and turning on the TV.
The weight on the seat tells me that DJ's sat next to me.

"are you doing ok?" He asks me, putting a hand on my shoulder.

"...no not really, i'm still a little shaken by what went down the other day" i tell him looking away with my head on my hand.

"Duncan..."

I turn to look at him.

"have you... have you ever thought that maybe you're depressed?" he asks.

I scowl, "what? no, of course not! i'm not some sad, loner kid" i know he might be right, but i refuse to say that i'm some depressed teenager.

"Are you sure?" he asks me again which makes me look at him and then the floor again. He knows i'm bullshitting, fuck.

"no..." i admit biting my lip to stop me from tearing up.

He opens his arms for a hug, which i gladly accept by wrapping my arms around him and embracing him, i try to hold the tears back as best as i can but my emotions get the better of me again, so i start sobbing as quietly as i can into DJ's shoulder while he just holds me as i let it all out for the second time in a row.

We sit there for a few minutes until my crying stops, i feel bad because his shoulder is soaked but he doesn't seem too bothered.

"did that help?" he questions me.

"*sniff* yeah actually, thanks" i reply, he looks at me in a way that makes me feel sick and ecstatic at the same time. I don't know what makes me do it, but i learn forward and press my lips to his, not realizing nor caring what the consequences would be.

And he... kisses me back, wow. Soon enough, i pull away in shock at what i did. "I just kissed you" i state.

"and i just kissed you back" he responds

I sit there for a moment staring at him in disbelief, before swallowing the lump in my throat and looking away.

"Can we... do it again" i ask timidly

He responds by lifting my chin and connecting our lips again in a more meaningful kiss. He pulls away with a smile

"So, what are we now?" i ask him unsure.

"I don't really know myself, but i know one thing. It's that i don't want it to end yet, how about you?" he answers.

"But we're both guys, isn't that wrong?"

"no, not at all" DJ assures.

"Well... i suppose i'll give it a go then, if that's good with you?" i give in to the idea.

"absolutely" he says before kissing me again.

We watched movies, ate ice cream and cuddled all night until i fell asleep on the couch.

ok, i have a few things to say. First, i swear the cruise chapter will be soon. Second, if you haven't already, go check out the masterpeice Phone calls are their thing, an Aletyler story by the talented joxnerd.
Third, 800+ words, damn. Fourth, what should be Duncan and DJ's ship name? I've come up with a few. (Ps DJ's full name is Devon Joseph so keep that in mind).
