We land about 100 miles away from the given address. New York is a busy place, and we had to blend, in order to surprise attack Lukin and his team.

The location is a popular restaurant, right in the center of New York City. A fancy apartment complex sat on top of it. The hope is that he would be in his apartment. That way we wouldn't make a big scene, however, hope is for idiots.

Marcus and I arrive at the back of the restaurant, waiting for the all clear. Omar is sent inside to check for Ivan, considering he most likely won't be recognized. Trinity stayed behind to work on the technical side of things, while Kol, Ivy, and Axel wait outside for any runners. "I've got the security camera hacked," Trinity speaks into our earpieces. "Omar check table two, I can't see their face from here."

We wait patiently for any response when loud gun shots erupt from inside. We rush into action, I go left he goes right. I briskly turn the corner, watching out for any threats. There's loud commotion coming from the mics but it's too hard to understand. "Trinity what are you seeing?" Marcus yells through the staticky earpiece.

"It's-It's-I-I," the mics break out as I head farther out. There's people running back and forth, screaming frantically. "Someone's trying to block our communication signal," Trinity's voice clears. "I said Omar's down!" My heart races with panic as I hurry around the building.

"I'm going after him, someone keep on Lukin!" I shout into the mics. I quicken my pace, gripping onto my gun before turning the corner. The windows are shattered and I swiftly climb through them, careful not to cut myself. "Where is he?" I ask. I take cover behind a booth and wait for a response. I watch discreetly as more members run up stairs in the back. I hear loud gasping and desperately scan the room for Omar.

"Isobel..." he croaks, breathlessly. I spot him across the room, bleeding out onto the floor. I sprint towards him, crouching low to the ground.

"We're getting out of here," I assure him, carefully assessing his bullet wound. The blood is seeping out of his arm rapidly.

"Isobel's got him get the car ready," Trinity narrates to the others. Terrible memories rush through my mind as I apply pressure to the wound. Link died exactly like this... I rip off some of my dress and wrap it around the bleeding.

He groans as I tighten it roughly. "Come on, I got you," I assure him, lifting him off the floor. I wrap his arm around my neck as I heave him off the bloody floor. He stumbles a bit, struggling to stand. Finally, he leans on me and we trudge to the exit.

He gasps unsteadily in pain, but I push us through

He gasps unsteadily in pain, but I push us through. "You're okay," I assure him. I lead him out through the shattered window where Kol is waiting. I carefully fit him into the back seat, nodding at Kol as he drives away. I quickly turn back, following the men fleeing up the back stairs.

I'm met with a long hallway, each door marked with a number. "Where'd he go Trinity?" I ask, looking around for any indicators. I press my back against the first door and listen in, before moving onto the next.
