Pallavi & Raghav ————————————————

Pallavi was walking in the middle of the road at 3 in the morning. After all the conversations and talks between the family when baba and Nikhil came home pallavi went into autopilot mode. She did not cry as was expected of her. How do you even cry for a man that left you on your wedding night...whose return was expected just a day ago and now was lost to her forever. Aayi had cried... she was the only one. Baba.. Nikhil.. Kaka were all furious. She was... she didn't know what she was actually. This all seemed like a sick joke rather than her reality.

An hour later she found herself near a park. She looked around and realized how far she had walked from home. She was now in the Influential neighborhood of Hyderabad. She found a bench in the park near a lamp and decided to do her thinking there. She thought about what Aayi and Baba must be feeling. They found and lost their son on the same day. Well technically not lost him. Pallavi heard what Baba had said in anger but she knew the heart of a parent. She had to get home before everyone came downstairs after pretending to sleep. She took extra care when she left the house because she knew that everyone was wide awake thinking about Mandaar.

She couldn't stop thinking about him. She felt betrayed.. Used.. Insignificant. Never had she felt this way. It was as if she didn't matter to the person that had mattered the most to her. As she thought more and more about the betrayal she got angrier than she ever did.

    - I do not envy the person you are thinking about right now.
Pallavi looked at her left and saw a man standing there smirking at her. To say he was handsome would be a injustice. His wrinkled shift was half unbuttoned. One side of the shirt was tucked in. His hair was a mess. It seemed as if he just rolled out of bed. She looked back at his face there was just something about his smirk that has her blurting out.
    - You wouldn't happen to know where I can hire a hitman
Of all the things Raghav had expected this was not it. He smiled at her while slowly appraising her. She looked like a bride. A simple yet classic bride. Her red saree her minimal jewelry. Her makeup was minimalistic. To be honest she really didn't need heavy saree or lots of jewelry or makeup. She looked more gorgeous than any bride he had every seen. Intrigued by her and her story he decided to play along.
    - I know a few people that can help. Are you trying to kill your groom? Did he leave you at the alter (Mandap)
    - It's not my wedding today. I am already married.
Raghav was Surprised that she was married especially since she didn't wear sindoor or mangalsutra. Was she lying to him. After all did one actually speak the whole truth to a stranger. But If she was married why would her foolish husband let's a woman like this leave his bed during the night.

Out of curiosity He moved towards her and sat on the bench next to her. Has he set down he was assaulted by the smell of jasmine. The smell had an immediate hardening impact on his lower body. To distract himself from his bodies reaction to her. He asked her a question.
    - Okay then you want to kill your husband. What crime did he commit. Did he not please you enough?
Pallavi laughed.
    - I am guessing your world revolves around sex. In fact from the looks of you I can guess you just rolled out of your new conquests bed. Am I right?
Raghav immediately imagined her in his bed. Wearing nothing inviting him to explore all her secrets. He shook his head. Trying to rid himself of the imagine. He sat more comfortably on the bench as to hide his body'a reaction to her.
    - We are talking about you first. So tell me why do you need a hitman?
    - Why do people need a hitman? Clearly I don't want him to fix my bathroom plumbing.
She gave him such a cheeky smile that Raghav just wanted to grab her and take her home.
    - Okay seriously. I was just joking about the hitman. I don't think I can do anything as drastic. I will need to come up with a different plan to get me revenge.
    - Maybe I can help? Who do you need revenge on and why.
    - Why should I tell you. After all you are a stranger.
    - It's because I am stranger you should tell me. I will be the most unbiased person.
    - That is true. So I need revenge on my husband. He betrayed his family and me. It's been two years since he left us. Suddenly he came back yesterday into our lives. Only to hurt and betray us again before he left.
Raghav was not expecting this. He thought how he had dealt with betrayals in the past. In the lifestyle he lived betrayal was very common. He had learned early on not to forget or forgive. Forgiveness is a weakness when it comes to the lawless. In any case he doubted she would take his path. She was too innocent too pure to be compromised like him. So he gave her the same advice Vaasu had given him. She listened to his words and nodded her head in a yes. She gave no othe indication If she will follow his advice or not. They both sat together in silence for a while.
Suddenly her phone alarm went off. She quickly snoozed it and got up from the bench.
    - I should be going home. Everyone will be waking up soon.
Raghav got up and looked at her.
    - My driver can drop you home?
    - No thank you. I think we should just say our goodbyes now. After all the whole point was for us to be strangers.
Raghav smiled at her.
    - As you wish.
    - Thank you for your advice. I will remember it always.
She started walking away from him. He didn't know what came over him but he heard himself yell behind her.
    - Also Ms. Stranger another piece of advice for you. When everything fails. A round of good sex can definitely help you.
She turned around in surprise. And he could see her blushing a little he gave her a wink and saw her entire face turn pink. She resumed her walk again without replying to his comment. Raghav turned and walked towards the path he came down. Within seconds Farhad was walking alongside him.
    - Have one of the men follow her home. Make sure she gets home safely first then find out everything about her.
    - I have Shree following her already. Harish will gather information.
Always Farhad was on top of everything. As they got to Raghav's parked car. Farhad asked him a question knowly fully well what Raghav would pick.
    - Home or the hotel?
    - Home.
