{ Sora's POV }

As I pulled Asra down the halls, I slowed down and stopped at a door, my eyes narrowing. I turned to it and cracked my knuckles slowly, then I placed a gloved hand on the door. It slowly pushed open and I stepped back, waving the dust away. My eyes narrowed and I held a hand out, conjuring a ball of light. I turned and held a hand out to Asra, my eyes gleaming brightly. Asra raised a brow and took my hand.

I'm silence we walked side by side along the dark corridor. The only sound audible was my heels clicking against the dusty ground. The train of my gown brushed against the ground and eventually, Asra spoke.

' Sora... why are we here? '

" ...I believe my parents.. were here. They lived here. I can feel it. "

Asra fell silent as we stepped into another room. The first thing I saw was the photograph. I stared at it in awe.

It was a picture of my parents when they were still young. I slowly approached the portrait and wiped the dust off the faces. My eyes widened and I stepped back. I stared at my mother's back and saw a slight imperfection. She had wings. Sudden realization hit me.

" Someone cut her wings off. " I turned to Asra, who was watching my actions carefully.

' ...Oh? ' Asra looked at me, then frowned, searching around the portrait. There was something off. Then I realized. I let out a small gasp and stepped back.

" Who are you? " I said in confusion and fear.

' ..Sora? What's wrong? ' His voice was too sweet.

I let out a scream as he pulled out a dagger. I whipped around and sprinted through the corridor as the fake Asra chased me. I yelled in pain as the dagger hit one of my wings. I threw the door open and sprinted out the room, darting past people and going out the balcony. I turned and saw the fake Asra run after me. I swore and leaped off the edge, the cold air cutting through my gown. I tried to open my wings but failed miserably. I felt the icy cold snow hit my skin and swore in fear when I felt another surge of pain in my other wing. I whirled around in the air and let myself fall.

My eyes closed.

I felt someone catch me and I opened my eyes, seeing one of the guards. I smiled at them as they placed me down. Before they could ask me something, the imposter Asra leaped down and chased after me. I ran into the castle and opened my bleeding wings to shove people out the way. Eventually, I went to the mirror room and hid in a corner, breathing heavily. I sighed and closed my eyes. Then, a hand grabbed my arm and pulled me up. I yelled and opened my wings, shattering the mirrors, some of the shards cut into my wings and I managed to get out the halls.

My next objective: find the real Asra.

I darted down the halls and saw Nadia. I yelled for her and she quickly took hold of my hand and pulled me close. She asked me what happened and I explained everything through gasps of air. When I finished explaining, I heard a voice.
