Victor And Elise Are Both Sixteen Now. }

{ Elise's POV }

All I could think was: run.
As I ran around the carts and stands, I heard the people's voices yelling at me slowly fade away.
I sprinted into an alleyway and fell forward. I yelped when I felt hands steady me. I looked up to see intense blue eyes looking back at me and I chuckled lowly, then whipped around, tightening my ponytail. The male grabbed me by the waist and pinned me to the wall, closing the distance between us as a group of people ran by. My hands pressed against his chest and he looked down at me, chuckling softly. I blushed and he pulled away.

" What a pleasure seeing you 'round here, Elise. "
" Oh, shut up, Victor.. "
" Fine, fine. What the hell are you doin' anyway? "
" ..Ahh. Running away, as usual. "
" I assume you pissed people off? "

I grinned, then turned back around, placing my hands on my hips as one of the guys who were chasing me walk towards me. I glanced over my shoulder and winked at Victor. He smiled slightly and stepped back. I looked at the guy and raised a brow slightly.

" Well, give me your best shot, fraud. "
' What'd you jus- '
I slugged him in the stomach, then stepped back.

{ Victor's POV }

I watched as Elise bounced back and forth, energy pulsing through her veins.
Soon after, the guy had left Elise turned to me, her amber eyes gleaming mischievously.
Next thing I knew, she was pulling me along with her, running to the palace.
As soon as she reached the gates, she let go of my hand and walked into the palace, a small smile on her face. I followed her and walked to the salon.

{ Sora's POV }

I was talking to a couple, my eyes narrowed as my fists clenched. I stood and whipped around, walking out of the salon, my wings flicking slightly. I saw Elise and Victor, flashing them a small smile.

" Hello, miss Sora. "
" Afternoon, Elise- "
I heard the man of the couple yell at me and I turned on my heel, standing in front of the kids. I chuckled lowly, my eyes going dull.
" It really seems like you want to start a war, my kind sir. "
' Maybe I do. '
" Then so be it. "
I walked off to tell Nadia and Asra what happened. As I explained, my anger was possibly obvious when I heard the female voice of the woman saying-
' She won't do shit to us. She's just acting tough. '
I let out a sigh and turned. I placed my hands on my hips, eyes narrowing. Nadia laughed slowly and walked over to the woman.
' May I ask, who are you talking of? '
' Who else? That Sora girl. '
' Mhm. Why's that? '
' She's acting like she's going to start a war on us. '
" Because she will, miss! " Elise stood beside Nadia.
I walked over and stood beside Elise, my hands behind my back. Asra stood behind me.
' What power does she have? She's not even the Countess! '
' Who said there was only one? '
I smiled and closed my eyes. Nadia and I are the two rulers of Vesuvia. We worked best together.
' ..There's two!- '
" Yes. There are two Countesses. "
I flashed the woman a smile and started walking.
