Chapter 26

{ This chapter is gonna be Asra and Sora together at the shop }
{ Snow Day }

{ Asra's POV }

I sighed, waking up to the smell of toast and the sound of Sora's soft singing. I looked outside and saw it was snowing. I smiled to myself. Finally, a day Sora and I had together to be alone. I quietly walked downstairs and watched as Sora walked around the kitchen, blackberries on a bowl and eggs cooking in the skillet. I closed my eyes, listening to her voice as she sang to herself.
" I want you to know.. I'm never leaving, 'cause I'm Mrs. Snow, 'till death we'll be freezing. "
I felt her eyes on me and I opened my eyes.
" You are my home, my home for all seasons. So come on, let's go. "
I walked over to Sora and gave her a small kiss on the lips and she laughed softly, kissing my neck lightly before continuing to cook. I leaned on the counter and poured a cup of tea.
" Mm. Fixing a big breakfast, I see? "
" ..Actually- theres some birds that are by the window. I found nuts and berries for them. "
Her voice trailed off for a moment before- " So yes, a big breakfast! "
She grabbed my cloak and pulled it on, putting some boots on and grabbing the bowl. I watched as she walked outside and tossed the berries and nuts out into the pure white snow. I opened the door as she ran in the house. I laughed as she quickly pulled the cloak off and rushed to the eggs, continuing to cook them. I walked up behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist, resting my chin on her shoulder.
" Mm. Try. "
She held a piece of egg to my mouths and I took a bite.
" Perfect. "
I could see her grin as she fixed a plate for us both. I sat down and we both ate in comfortable silence. I looked at Sora and saw how tired she looked.
" What time did you wake up? "
" ..Ahh... you're gonna scold me. I didn't sleep much last night. I have no clue why. "
" You could have told me, dear. "
" I know. "
I sighed and helped her clean the dishes off. Slowly, I opened my arms for her and she looked at me for a few moments before grabbing my hand and walking up to the bedroom with me. She laid down on the bed and looked outside. I laughed softly and got under the covers with my lover, rubbing her thigh lightly. She responded to my touch and let out a low noise, leaning against my chest. Then, she turned to me and placed a warm hand on my face as she looked at me. I smiled slightly and kissed her head lightly before pulling her close to me.

{ Sora's POV }

When Asra pulled me close, I relaxed my body and played with his hair. I then smiled and tilted his head to me. I brushed his cheekbone with my thumb. I looked into those deep-purple eyes, then smiled again, kissing his nose lightly before nestling down. I gazed outside as I hummed to myself, Asra brushing his hand along my wings lightly.

- A Few Hours Later -

I was downstairs, reading a book as I curled close to Asra, who was next to me, his eyes closed. I let out a low sigh and put the book down. I felt Asra shift and blushed softly when he pulled me closer to him. I grabbed a blanket, shivering slightly. I then stood and put a blanket on top of Asra. I stood slowly and wrapped the blanket I had tighter around me as I slowly started walking, grumbling as I fixed myself some tea. I suddenly felt a cold rush of air and yelped, turning and seeing Kota pull the blanket down.
" K-Kota! " I shuddered and hugged myself.
The fox spoke in my mind. ' Asra. '
" H-He's a-asleep. "
The fox sighed and put the blanket down. I grabbed it and pulled it around my shoulders. I took a sip of my tea and let out a low sigh. As I turned around I felt a hand pull the blanket off of my shoulders and I flinched, placing my cup of tea down. I closed my eyes slowly and felt his hands on my forearms. I opened my eyes, looking at Asra.
" ..Hi. "
" Are you alright? "
" I'm fine. Just cold. "
Asra pulled the blanket around me and picked me up, walking to our room. He placed me down and tucked me in, then he walked out our room and I heard the water running in the bath. I let my eyes close for a while until Asra kissed my nose.
" I fixed a bath for you. "
I got up and grabbed spare clothes. Asra was about to walk away before I stopped him.
" Thank you, dear. "
I smiled and kissed his lips softly before closing the door and pulling my hair back and peeling my clothes off and sinking into the bath, relaxing my body.

{ Asra's POV }

I sighed softly and fixed some tea for Sora and I. I heard faint humming from the bathroom and smiled to myself.
After a few minutes I was gazing outside and I felt arms wrap around my waist from behind. I smiled to myself and continued standing there as Sora let go of me and I peered over my shoulder, watching as she poured a cup of tea and placed a hand on her hip, closing her eyes as she sipped the tea. I smiled to myself and looked back ahead of me.

We spent the rest of the day reading together and gazing at the snow.
